My AskAI Zapier integrationAutomate My AskAI with Zapier.
The My AskAI Zapier integration has 0 triggers, 1 action and 0 searches. That single action, Ask Question, sends a question to your AskAI from any app Zapier can watch, such as a form or a spreadsheet. My AskAI is not a premium app, so it runs on the free plan.

What the My AskAI Zapier integration actually does
My AskAI is a customer support chatbot built on AI, trained on your company knowledge, with a handover to a human when needed. On Zapier, the tool that links apps together, it offers exactly one thing: an action that puts a new question to your AskAI. Something in another app has to start the automation.
Form questions routed to your AskAI. A visitor fills in a contact form, and the text of their question goes straight into Ask Question, without anyone copying it over.
A spreadsheet of questions worked through. Each new row added to a sheet carries one question, and the Zap hands it to your AskAI, row after row, as the sheet grows.
Only the questions worth asking. With a filter placed before the action, a Zap passes on only the entries that meet a condition you set. That filter needs a paid plan.
What Zapier does not do with My AskAI: there is no trigger, so nothing that happens inside My AskAI can start a Zap. There is no search step either, so a Zap cannot look anything up in My AskAI. The one action takes a single required field, the question. What comes back from it is something to read at the test, not something this page can promise. If you are comparing tools before you start, see our Zapier review or the Make vs Zapier comparison.
Zapier vocabulary in one minute
A handful of words come back across this page. Here they are, in plain English.
- Zap
- The automation you build on Zapier: one trigger, then one or more actions that run every time the trigger event happens.
- Trigger
- The event in an app that starts the Zap. My AskAI has none, so the trigger always comes from another app.
- Action
- What the Zap does once it has started: the step that writes, sends or moves something for you, here Ask Question.
- Task
- The unit Zapier bills: one action your Zap completes successfully. The count on your plan is a count of those.
- Polling trigger
- A trigger Zapier checks on a timer: it asks the app for new items at a fixed interval and keeps only the new ones.
- Instant trigger
- A trigger the app reports itself, the moment the event happens, so nothing waits for Zapier's next check.
- Filter
- A step that lets the Zap go on only when what arrived meets the condition you set, and stops it otherwise.
- Multi-step Zap
- Any Zap beyond one trigger and one action. A filter or a second action makes one, and it then needs a paid plan.
What it really costs
My AskAI is not a premium app on Zapier: it works from the free plan. What you spend is tasks.
- Premium appNo, free plan is enough
- Free plan100 tasks a month, two steps per Zap
- Each question sentOne task
- TriggerNever billed
Every question that Ask Question sends successfully counts as one task. The trigger from the other app costs nothing, however often Zapier checks it, and an action that does not go through is not counted. The free plan gives 100 tasks a month and unlimited Zaps, each limited to two steps: one trigger, one action. Put a filter in front of Ask Question and it becomes a multi-step Zap, which needs a paid plan. The interval grid below only matters if the trigger you pick in the other app is a polling one.
Connect My AskAI to Zapier in 3 steps
- 01
Open the Apps page
In your Zapier account, open Apps and click + Add connection. You need a My AskAI account first, since that is the account Zapier will act on for every step.
- 02
Find My AskAI
In the dialog that opens, type My AskAI in the search box, pick it from the results and click Add connection. A new browser tab opens for the sign-in.
- 03
Sign in and allow access
Sign in to My AskAI in that tab, then grant Zapier access to the account. The connection is saved once and every Zap step that uses My AskAI reuses it.
Your first Zap: form questions on one topic go to your AskAI
GoalEach new form entry is checked against a condition, and only the matching ones are sent to your AskAI with Ask Question.
- 01
Create the Zap
Start a new Zap and pick your form tool as the app that starts it, with its new-entry event. My AskAI cannot be the first step, since it has no trigger.
- 02
Test the trigger
Run the test. Zapier brings back the three most recent entries of the connected form account, so you build the rest of the Zap on a real one.
- 03
Add the filter
Click the plus icon, add Filter, then fill the three boxes: the field to look at, the rule, and the value to compare with. This filter needs a paid plan.
- 04
Add Ask Question
Add My AskAI as the action, choose
Ask Question, and map the form field that holds the question into Question. Test the step and read what comes back. - 05
Publish
Click Publish to switch the Zap on. Only entries sent after that moment are picked up; anything already in the form stays where it is.
My AskAI actions on Zapier
My AskAI gives you 1 action. For each one: what it does for you, when to reach for it, and what to watch out for.

Ask Question
ActionIn Zapier“Ask a new question to your AskAI.”
Puts a new question to your AskAI, the chatbot trained on your company knowledge. The text you map into the Question field is what gets asked.
When the My AskAI Zap breaks
Zapier links no help article and no specific limit to My AskAI. What goes wrong comes from the way every Zap works, mostly on the trigger side, in the other app.
Check these four cases first. If a run still fails, see our Zapier troubleshooting guide.
Old questions are never asked
A Zap only reacts to what happens after it is switched on. Entries already in your form or sheet are not picked up; moving that backlog is a separate job.A Zap that sets itself off
As a general precaution: a Zap that writes into the very place its own trigger watches can set itself off again and again and burn through your tasks.A huge batch at once
After a bulk import into the app that starts the Zap, a trigger that suddenly returns a huge batch can be held back by Zapier's flood protection. The same entry, sent once
On a polling trigger, Zapier keeps track of what it has already seen, so the same entry does not start the Zap twice.
