What the MyCRM Sync Zapier integration does for you
The MyCRM Sync Zapier integration connects MyCRM, a customer relationship tool, to Zapier in both directions. Five triggers tell Zapier when a contact is created, updated or deleted, or when a deal changes status. One action, Create a Lead, writes a new lead into MyCRM from another app.
Three results you can build with it. A deal alert in team chat: Deal Status Changed posts a message as soon as MyCRM reports the change, so nobody has to keep MyCRM open to see it. A contact list kept in a sheet: Contact Created adds a row to a spreadsheet, and Contact Updated or Contact Deleted can keep a second log of every change made after that. Leads from a web form: a new form entry runs Create a Lead, so people who reach you online land in MyCRM with their first name, last name, email and mobile number.
What Zapier does not do for MyCRM Sync. There is no search, so a Zap cannot look up a contact or a deal before acting. The only action creates a lead: a Zap cannot update a contact, move a deal or delete anything in MyCRM. And the triggers only report events that happen after the Zap is switched on, though all five do it the moment the event happens, whatever your plan. To weigh Zapier against another tool, see our n8n vs Zapier comparison.
Zapier words, in plain English
Seven words come back on this page. Here is each one, once.
- Zap
- The automation you build on Zapier: one trigger, then one or more actions that run each time the trigger event happens.
- Trigger
- The event that starts the Zap, here a contact or deal event in MyCRM. Once the Zap is on, Zapier waits for it.
- Action
- What the Zap does once it has started: the step that writes, sends or moves something for you, like Create a Lead.
- Task
- The unit Zapier bills: one action your Zap completes successfully. Your plan's number is a count of those.
- Instant trigger
- A trigger the app reports itself: it calls Zapier the moment the event happens, so nothing waits for a timed check.
- Filter
- A step that lets the Zap go on only when what arrived meets the condition you set, and stops it there otherwise.
- Multi-step Zap
- Any Zap beyond one trigger and one action. A filter or a second action makes one, and it then needs a paid plan.
What a MyCRM Sync Zap really costs
MyCRM Sync is not a premium app, so it works from the free plan. You pay for completed actions, never for the trigger.
- TriggersFree, never counted
- Each successful action1 task
- Free plan100 tasks a month, two-step Zaps
- Premium appNo
None of the five triggers costs a task. Each action that succeeds counts as one, Create a Lead included, and a failed action is not counted. The free plan gives 100 tasks a month and unlimited Zaps of two steps: one trigger, one action. A filter or a second action makes a multi-step Zap, which needs a paid plan. The grid below sets how often Zapier checks a polling trigger. It does not apply to any MyCRM Sync trigger, since all five are instant; it only matters if a Create a Lead Zap starts from a polling trigger in another app.
Connect MyCRM Sync to Zapier in three steps
- 01
Open your connections
In your Zapier account, open the Apps page and click + Add connection. A connection is your MyCRM account linked to Zapier once, then reused by every Zap that needs it.
- 02
Pick MyCRM Sync
Type MyCRM Sync in the dialog, select it, then click Add connection. A new tab opens on the MyCRM sign-in. You need an account on the app to carry on.
- 03
Sign in and grant access
Sign in to MyCRM in that tab and grant Zapier access to the account. You also need read or write access on anything you do not own yourself and want the Zap to touch.
Your first Zap: alert the team on the deals that matter
GoalWhen a deal changes status in MyCRM and meets your condition, a message lands in your team chat.
- 01
Create the Zap and set the trigger
Start a new Zap, pick MyCRM Sync as the app and Deal Status Changed as the event, then choose your MyCRM connection from the list.
- 02
Test the trigger
Run the test. Zapier brings back the three most recent items of the account, so you build the next steps on a real deal. Check at test time which values come through.
- 03
Add the filter
Click the plus icon, add Filter, and fill the three boxes: the field, the rule, the value. A filter needs a paid plan, and a text rule only works on text.
- 04
Add the chat step
Add your team chat as the action, choose the step that sends a message, then map the deal values from the test into the text.
- 05
Test, then publish
Test each step once and read what came back before going further. When it all looks right, click Publish to switch the Zap on.
The five MyCRM Sync triggers
5 events start a Zap when something happens in MyCRM Sync, and 5 of them are instant: the app calls Zapier straight away, whatever your plan.
Contact Created/Updated/Deleted
Instant triggerIn Zapier“Triggers when a new contact is created/updated/deleted.”
Covers the whole life of a contact in one trigger: creation, update and deletion all start the same Zap.
Contact Created
Instant triggerIn Zapier“Triggers when a new contact is created.”
Fires only when a contact is added to MyCRM, and hands that new contact to the next steps.
Contact Deleted
Instant triggerIn Zapier“Triggers when a new contact is deleted.”
Reacts when a contact is removed from MyCRM, so the deletion leaves a trace somewhere else.
Contact Updated
Instant triggerIn Zapier“Triggers when a new contact is updated.”
Starts the Zap each time an existing contact is edited in MyCRM.
Deal Status Changed
Instant triggerIn Zapier“Triggers when a deal changes status.”
Reports a deal moving from one status to another in MyCRM.
The MyCRM Sync action
MyCRM Sync gives you 1 action. For each one: what it does for you, when to reach for it, and what to watch out for.
Operations index
Create a Lead
ActionIn Zapier“Creates a basic lead”
Adds a basic lead to MyCRM from what the trigger of another app brought in, one lead per Zap run.
When a MyCRM Sync Zap breaks
Zapier links no help article to MyCRM Sync, so these cases come from the action's required fields and Zapier's general limits.
Four situations to keep in mind before and after you publish. If one of them shows up, see our Zapier troubleshooting guide.
Create a Lead is missing a value
First Name, Last Name, Email and Mobile are required. If the trigger app does not collect one of them, check it at test time before you publish.Older contacts and deals never come through
The triggers only report what happens after the Zap is switched on. Nothing older is picked up, and moving that history is a separate job.A big batch is held back
When a trigger suddenly returns a huge batch, after a bulk import or a migration, Zapier's flood protection can hold it back.A Zap that sets itself off
As a general precaution: a Zap that writes into the place its own trigger watches can start itself again and use up tasks fast.
