Overview

What the NeerSoft CRM Zapier integration does for you

NeerSoft CRM is a CRM built for micro and small businesses: clients, deals, tasks and invoices in one place. Linked to Zapier, it can hand each new customer to your other tools, and receive customers that were first entered somewhere else. Zapier lists the integration as beta.

A customer list your other tools can read. With New Customer as the starting point, each customer added to the CRM can become a row in a shared spreadsheet. Which details come through is something to read at the test step, not to guess.

Customers entered once, not twice. Add Customer creates a customer in NeerSoft CRM from another app, a form or a sign-up sheet for instance. It needs a name, a mobile number and an email every time.

A heads-up when someone new arrives. The same trigger can post a message in your team chat, so a colleague sees the new customer without opening the CRM. It arrives at the next check, not the instant the customer is added.

What Zapier does not do here: the integration stops at those two operations. There is no search, so a Zap cannot find a customer who is already in the CRM, and nothing to update a customer, a deal or an invoice. To weigh other options, see our Make vs Zapier comparison, or our Zapier review.

Vocabulary

The Zapier words, in one minute

Eight words carry the rest of the page. Each one keeps this meaning from here on.

Zap
The automation you build on Zapier: one trigger, then one or more actions that run every time that trigger event happens.
Trigger
The event in an app that starts the Zap. Once the Zap is switched on, Zapier waits for it and nothing runs before it.
Action
What the Zap does once it has started: the step that writes, sends or moves something for you in an app.
Task
The unit Zapier bills. One task is one action your Zap completes successfully, and your plan counts those.
Polling trigger
A trigger Zapier checks on a timer, asking the app for new items at a fixed interval and keeping only the ones it has not seen.
Instant trigger
A trigger the app reports itself: it calls Zapier the moment the event happens, so nothing waits for a scheduled check.
Filter
A step that lets the Zap go on only when what arrived meets a condition you set, and stops it there otherwise.
Multi-step Zap
Any Zap beyond one trigger and one action. A second action or a filter makes it one, and it then needs a paid plan.
Cost

What a NeerSoft CRM Zap really costs

NeerSoft CRM is not a premium app, so it works from the free plan. The New Customer checks never cost a task, however often they run: only an action that goes through is counted.

  • Free plan100 tasks a month, unlimited Zaps of two steps each
  • New Customer checksNever counted as tasks
  • Failed actionNot counted against the plan
  • Premium appNo, available from the free plan

New Customer plus one action, or any trigger plus Add Customer, fits the free plan. Add a filter or a second action and the Zap becomes multi-step, which needs a paid plan, and each action that succeeds counts on its own. An action that fails is not counted, and a three-action Zap uses three times more than a one-action Zap. New Customer is a polling trigger, so the grid below sets how long a new customer can wait before the Zap sees it.

Connect

Connect your NeerSoft CRM account

  1. 01

    Open your connections

In your Zapier account, open the Apps page and click + Add connection. A connection is your NeerSoft CRM account linked once, then reused by every step that uses the app.

  2. 02

    Find NeerSoft CRM

Type the app name in the dialog, pick NeerSoft CRM, then click Add connection. You need an account on the app, plus read or write access on anything you do not own yourself and want the Zap to touch.

  3. 03

    Sign in and grant access

A new tab opens on NeerSoft CRM. Sign in there, then grant Zapier access to the account. Once the tab closes, the account can be picked in any Zap step.

First Zap

Your first Zap: log new customers in a shared sheet

GoalEach new customer added to NeerSoft CRM who matches your condition becomes a row in a shared spreadsheet that the rest of the team reads.

  1. 01

    Create the Zap

Start a new Zap, pick NeerSoft CRM as the app that starts it and New Customer as the event, then choose your connected account.

  2. 02

    Test the trigger

Run the test. Zapier brings back the three most recent customers of the account, so you map fields from a real one. Read what came back before going further.

  3. 03

    Add the filter

Add a Filter step from the plus icon and fill three boxes: the field, the rule, the value. A filter makes this a multi-step Zap, so it needs a paid plan.

  4. 04

    Add the spreadsheet row

Add the action in your spreadsheet tool and map the customer fields from the test into the columns. Test the step and read what came back.

  5. 05

    Publish

Publish the Zap to switch it on. From then on, each new customer who passes the filter writes one row at the next check, and each row is one task.

Triggers

The NeerSoft CRM trigger

1 event starts a Zap when something happens in NeerSoft CRM. Zapier checks for them at the interval your plan allows.

1

New Customer

Polling trigger

In Zapier“Triggers when a new customer is added to NeerSoft CRM.”

Starts your Zap for each customer added to NeerSoft CRM, so whatever you set after it runs once per new customer.

How it fires
Zapier goes and looks at regular intervals, and how often depends on your plan: every 15 minutes on the free one.
When to use it
when a new customer should appear in a sheet, a mailing tool or a team channel without anyone copying it over.
Watch out
customers added before the Zap was published are not picked up, so moving the existing list is a separate job.
Actions

The NeerSoft CRM action

NeerSoft CRM gives you 1 action. For each one: what it does for you, when to reach for it, and what to watch out for.

1

Add Customer

Action

In Zapier“NeerSoft CRM is a simple customer relationship management tool for small businesses to manage leads, customers, and deals.”

Creates a customer record in NeerSoft CRM from what the earlier steps of your Zap carry.

When to use it
when customers first appear in a form, a sign-up sheet or another tool and belong in the CRM too.
Watch out
Name, Mobile and Email are all required, so map each one to a step that always provides it, and check the record at the test.
When it breaks

When a NeerSoft CRM Zap breaks

Zapier attaches no help article to NeerSoft CRM, so the cases below come from how every Zap behaves, plus the required fields of its action.

Keep these six cases in mind before you publish. When something does go wrong, see our Zapier troubleshooting guide.

  • Existing customers stay out

A Zap only reacts to what happens after you switch it on. Customers already in the CRM never reach it, and moving them is a separate job.
  • A Zap that sets itself off

A Zap that writes into the very place its own trigger watches can start itself again and again, and burn through your task count fast.
  • A sudden flood of customers

When a trigger suddenly returns a huge batch, after a bulk import or a migration, Zapier's flood protection can hold the Zap back.
  • The same customer, only once

Zapier keeps track of what it has already seen on a polling trigger, so the same customer does not start the Zap twice.
  • Three fields Add Customer needs

Name, Mobile and Email are required by Add Customer. Map each one to a value the earlier steps always carry, and confirm the record at the test.
  • A check, not a ping

New Customer is a polling trigger: Zapier looks on a timer, every 15 minutes on the free plan, so a new customer waits for the next check.

FAQ

NeerSoft CRM and Zapier: common questions

01Is the NeerSoft CRM Zapier integration free?
Yes, as long as the Zap stays at two steps. NeerSoft CRM is not a premium app, so it is available from the free plan, which gives you 100 tasks a month and an unlimited number of Zaps, each limited to one trigger and one action. New Customer followed by one action fits that frame, and so does any trigger followed by Add Customer. The first Zap on this page has a filter, which makes it multi-step and puts it on a paid plan. No price is quoted here, since plan grids change too often.
02How many tasks does a NeerSoft CRM Zap use?
One task per action that succeeds, and nothing for the trigger. Zapier checking NeerSoft CRM for new customers costs nothing, however often it looks. A Zap that writes one spreadsheet row per new customer uses one task per customer; add a chat message and it uses two, since each successful action counts on its own. An action that fails is not counted against your plan. Multiply your expected new customers by the number of actions to size the plan.
03Does the NeerSoft CRM trigger run in real time?
No. New Customer is a polling trigger: Zapier asks NeerSoft CRM for new customers at a fixed interval, and that interval depends on your plan. It is 15 minutes on the free plan, 2 minutes on Professional, and 1 minute on Team and Enterprise. The type is set by the app and cannot be changed in the editor. On the paid plans, the check interval can be adjusted, and a check can also be run by hand from the editor.
04What do you need to connect a NeerSoft CRM account?
An account on NeerSoft CRM, plus read or write access on anything you do not own yourself and want the Zap to touch. The connection is made once from the Apps page of Zapier with + Add connection: you pick NeerSoft CRM, sign in to it in the tab that opens, then grant Zapier access. Every later NeerSoft CRM step reuses that connection. If you plan to use Add Customer, check that this account is allowed to add customers to the CRM.
05Why does Add Customer fail at the test?
Look at the three required fields first: Name, Mobile and Email. If the step that feeds Add Customer is missing any of them, the action has nothing to put in that box. Map each one to a value that the earlier steps always carry, then run the test again and read what comes back. A failed test costs nothing, since an action that fails is not counted. Keep in mind that Zapier lists this integration as beta.
06What if the NeerSoft CRM operation you need is not there?
Then this integration cannot do it, and no setting will add it. The current list is the one shown on the NeerSoft CRM page of Zapier: today it holds one trigger, New Customer, and one action, Add Customer, with no search. Deals, tasks and invoices have no step on Zapier for now, and neither does finding or updating an existing customer. The honest options are to build around those two operations, or to look at another automation tool for the rest.
07Zapier, Make or n8n for NeerSoft CRM?
It depends on what you weigh most. If your need fits New Customer and Add Customer, Zapier is a direct route, and a two-step Zap runs on the free plan. If waiting for the next check matters, remember the trigger is polled, every 15 minutes on the free plan, and compare what each tool offers for NeerSoft CRM. If you need deals or invoices, check whether another tool covers them before deciding. No tool wins on every criterion.
