NHANCENOW Zapier integrationAutomate NHANCENOW with Zapier.

The NHANCENOW Zapier integration gives you 2 triggers and 2 actions. The triggers watch support tickets, new or updated, and the actions configure or update a ticket from another tool. Both triggers are polling ones, so your plan sets how often they check.

Overview

What the NHANCENOW Zapier integration is for

NHANCENOW is a customer support tool that also covers bots. Zapier connects it to the rest of your tools with a Zap: an automation that starts on one event, then runs one or more steps for you. Here, the events are tickets created or updated, and the steps can write back to a ticket.

A heads-up on every new ticket. New Ticket Created. picks up each support ticket created in NHANCENOW. Sent to a team chat, it means nobody has to keep the helpdesk open to see what came in.

A log of ticket changes. Ticket Is Update fires when a ticket is updated. Each run can add a row to a spreadsheet, which gives you a running record outside the helpdesk.

Replies written from elsewhere. Update Ticket posts a reply message with a subject and sets the status of a ticket. It needs the ticket ID, so it fits Zaps where an earlier step really carries that ID; check it in the test.

What Zapier does not do here. NHANCENOW has no search step, so a Zap cannot look up a ticket by itself, and it has no instant trigger either: every ticket event reaches Zapier through a regular check. None of the four operations deletes a ticket. If you are comparing platforms, see our n8n vs Zapier comparison, or our Make vs Zapier comparison.

Vocabulary

Zapier words, explained in one minute

Seven terms come back across this page. Here they are in plain English.

Zap
The automation you build on Zapier: one trigger, then one or more actions that run every time the trigger event happens.
Trigger
The event in an app that starts the Zap. Once the Zap is on, Zapier waits for it, and nothing runs before it.
Action
What the Zap does after it starts: the step that writes, sends or updates something for you in an app.
Task
The unit Zapier bills: one action that completes successfully. The count on your plan is a count of those and nothing else.
Polling vs instant
A polling trigger is checked by Zapier at a fixed interval. An instant trigger is reported by the app itself when the event happens.
Filter
A step that lets the Zap go on only when what arrived meets the condition you set, and stops it otherwise.
Multi-step Zap
Any Zap beyond one trigger and one action. A second action or a filter makes one, and it then needs a paid plan.
Cost

What NHANCENOW costs you in Zapier tasks

NHANCENOW is not a premium app, so it runs from the free plan. What you pay is counted in tasks, and only completed actions count.

  • Trigger and checksno task
  • Successful action1 task each
  • Free plan100 tasks a month, two-step Zaps
  • Premium appno

The trigger never costs a task, and neither does each check Zapier runs to look for new tickets. Every action that goes through costs one task; an action that fails is not counted. The free plan gives 100 tasks a month and unlimited Zaps, each limited to two steps. A filter or a second action makes the Zap multi-step, which needs a paid plan. Both NHANCENOW triggers are polling ones, so the grid below sets how often they check.

Connect

Connect your NHANCENOW account to Zapier

  1. 01

    Open the Apps page

In your Zapier account, open Apps and click + Add connection. A connection is your NHANCENOW account linked once, then reused by every step that uses NHANCENOW.

  2. 02

    Pick NHANCENOW and sign in

Type NHANCENOW in the search box of the dialog, pick it and click Add connection. A tab opens on NHANCENOW: sign in with the account the Zap should work with.

  3. 03

    Grant access

Allow Zapier to use that account on the last screen. You need a NHANCENOW account, plus read or write access on anything you do not own yourself and want the Zap to touch.

First Zap

Your first NHANCENOW Zap, step by step

GoalRecord every updated NHANCENOW ticket in a spreadsheet, then tell your team in chat.

  1. 01

    Create the Zap

Start a new Zap and pick NHANCENOW as the app that starts it. Choose Ticket Is Update as the event, then select your NHANCENOW connection.

  2. 02

    Test the trigger

Run the test. Zapier brings back the three most recent items of the connected account, so you map fields from a real ticket rather than a guess.

  3. 03

    Add the spreadsheet row

Add your spreadsheet as the first action and place the values the test showed into the columns you want to keep, one column per field.

  4. 04

    Add the chat message

Add a second action that posts to your team chat. It makes the Zap multi-step, so it needs a paid plan; without it, the Zap fits the free plan.

  5. 05

    Test, then publish

Test each action once and read what came back. When both look right, publish the Zap to switch it on. For a guided pass, see our Zapier training.

Triggers

NHANCENOW triggers

2 events start a Zap when something happens in NHANCENOW. Zapier checks for them at the interval your plan allows.

1

New Ticket Created.

Polling trigger

In Zapier“Triggers when a new support ticket is created.”

This trigger starts a Zap for each new support ticket created in NHANCENOW. It is the entry point for anything that should happen when a customer reaches out: a notice, a row in a log, a task in another tool.

How it fires
Zapier goes and looks at regular intervals, and how often depends on your plan: every 15 minutes on the free one.
When to use it
when your team works in another tool and should hear about new tickets without watching the helpdesk.
Watch out
tickets created before the Zap is published are not picked up, so the Zap starts with an empty history.
2

Ticket Is Update

Polling trigger

In Zapier“Triggers when ticket is updated.”

Use this one to react when a ticket changes rather than when it appears. Each update found at a check starts the Zap, which makes it the base for logs and follow-ups.

How it fires
Zapier goes and looks at regular intervals, and how often depends on your plan: every 15 minutes on the free one.
When to use it
to keep a record of ticket changes in a spreadsheet, or to tell someone that a ticket they follow has moved.
Watch out
check in the test which fields arrive with an update before you map them; the official description does not list them.
Actions

NHANCENOW actions

NHANCENOW gives you 2 actions. For each one: what it does for you, when to reach for it, and what to watch out for.

1

Create Ticket Configuration

Action

In Zapier“Creates Helpdesk Configuration.”

Creates a helpdesk configuration for a ticket in NHANCENOW. It is the most demanding step of the app: five required fields, Service Request Guid, Ticket Id, Domain, Service request number and Tenant Id.

When to use it
when an earlier step in the Zap carries all of those identifiers, so the configuration can be built without typing anything.
Watch out
five identifiers is a lot to carry; run the test and check that each one really arrives filled in.
2

Update Ticket

Action

In Zapier“Updates a ticket.”

Writes back to an existing ticket: a reply message, its subject and the current status. Domain, Ticket Id, Message, Subject and Status are all required.

When to use it
when a reply or a status change decided in another tool should land on the ticket itself.
Watch out
the field help says that when there is no subject, you can put the message in Subject too.
When it breaks

When a NHANCENOW Zap breaks

Zapier links no help article to NHANCENOW, so the cases below are the general Zapier limits that apply to it.

Each case comes with a plain cause and a plain way out. If a Zap still misbehaves after that, open our Zapier troubleshooting guide.

  • Old tickets never come through

A Zap only reacts to what happens after it is switched on. Tickets created or updated before that are not picked up; moving that backlog is a separate job.
  • The Zap keeps setting itself off

As a general precaution, a Zap that writes into the place its own trigger watches can start itself again and again, and burn through your tasks.
  • A big batch is held back

When a trigger suddenly returns a huge batch, after a bulk import or a migration, Zapier's flood protection can hold those runs back.
  • The same ticket shows up once

Zapier keeps track of what it has already seen on a polling trigger, so the same item does not start the Zap twice.

FAQ

NHANCENOW Zapier integration: frequent questions

01Is the NHANCENOW Zapier integration free?
Yes, within the limits of the free plan. NHANCENOW is not a premium app, so its two triggers and two actions are available on the free plan, which gives 100 tasks a month and an unlimited number of Zaps. Each Zap there stops at two steps: one trigger and one action. A chat notice for each new ticket fits. Add a filter or a second action and the Zap becomes multi-step, which needs a paid plan.
02How many tasks does a NHANCENOW Zap use?
One task per action that completes, nothing more. The trigger costs nothing, and the regular checks Zapier runs to find new or updated tickets cost nothing either. A Zap that logs an updated ticket in a spreadsheet and then posts in chat uses two tasks per run. An action that does not go through is not counted. If your helpdesk sees a lot of updates, multiply the expected runs by the number of actions before switching the Zap on.
03Do NHANCENOW triggers fire in real time?
No. Both New Ticket Created. and Ticket Is Update are polling triggers: Zapier goes and looks at regular intervals, and how often depends on your plan, every 15 minutes on Free, 2 minutes on Professional and 1 minute on Team and Enterprise. On the paid plans, the interval can be changed, and a check can also be run by hand from the editor. NHANCENOW has no instant trigger that would skip this wait.
04What does it take to connect NHANCENOW to Zapier?
A NHANCENOW account, plus read or write access on anything you do not own yourself and want the Zap to touch. The connection is made from the Apps page of your Zapier account: click + Add connection, pick NHANCENOW, click Add connection, sign in to NHANCENOW in the tab that opens and grant access. After that, every Zap step that uses NHANCENOW reuses the same connection, so the account is linked only once.
05Which fields does Update Ticket require?
Five, all required: Domain, Ticket Id, Message, Subject and Status. Domain is the domain name of your helpdesk account; the field help's example keeps only the first part of the helpdesk address. Ticket Id is the unique ID of the ticket in the helpdesk. Message is the reply, Subject is its subject, and Status is the current status of the ticket. Since the app has no search step, the Ticket Id has to come from an earlier step; confirm in the test that the step you map from really carries one.
06What if the NHANCENOW operation you want is not there?
Then the Zapier integration does not offer it today. The NHANCENOW page on Zapier shows the current list of triggers and actions, and it is the reference to check before you plan a Zap around a step. Right now that list holds two polling triggers on tickets, created or updated, and two actions that configure or update a ticket. There is no search. Look at that page again before each new automation.
07Zapier, Make or n8n for NHANCENOW?
It depends on your criteria, not on a ranking. With Zapier, NHANCENOW works on the free plan for two-step Zaps, but both triggers are polling ones, so the 15-minute interval of the free plan sets how fast you hear about a ticket; a paid plan shortens it. If response speed or long chains of steps matter most, compare those two points. Check also that the NHANCENOW operations you rely on exist on the other platform before moving anything.
