Nomod Zapier integrationAutomate Nomod with Zapier.
The Nomod Zapier integration gives you 16 triggers, 9 actions and 4 searches. Every trigger is instant, so a paid link, a failed charge or a lost dispute reaches your other tools straight away, and Nomod is not a premium app, so the free plan accepts it.

What the Nomod Zapier integration actually does
Nomod lets merchants in the UAE and Saudi Arabia get paid online or face to face, through payment links, Tap to Pay, QR codes, Apple Pay, Google Pay and the usual card networks. On Zapier, it reports what happens to your money and lets other tools create invoices, links and customers in Nomod.
The integration is wide: 29 operations, and every trigger is instant. Three outcomes it is built for:
A sales log that never misses a payment. Link Paid, Invoice Paid and In-Person Paid each push the payment out the moment it clears, into a spreadsheet, your CRM or your accounting tool.
An alert before money walks away. Payment Failed, Invoice Overdue and New Dispute are the ones to wire to a chat or an email, so someone acts while the customer still remembers the purchase.
Invoices and links created from elsewhere. A deal closed in your CRM can become a Nomod customer with Create Customer, then a bill with Create Invoice, without anyone opening Nomod.
Here is what Zapier does not do with Nomod. No action edits an existing invoice, link or customer: you can create, cancel, refund, switch a link on or off, or delete it, and that is all. There is no trigger for a change to a customer record. And no Zap goes back in time: payments made before you published it stay out. If you plan to wire several of these flows at once, the Zapier training walks through multi-step Zaps, and the Make vs Zapier comparison helps if you are still choosing a platform.
Zapier vocabulary in one minute
Seven words come back on every Zapier page. Here they are in plain English, once, so the rest reads easily.
- Zap
- The automation you build on Zapier: a trigger, then one or more actions that run every time the trigger event happens.
- Trigger
- The event in an app that starts the Zap, such as a paid link in Nomod. Once the Zap is on, Zapier waits for it.
- Action
- What the Zap does after it starts: the step that writes, sends or moves something for you, like creating an invoice.
- Task
- What Zapier bills: one action your Zap completes successfully. The number on your plan counts exactly those.
- Polling vs instant trigger
- A polling trigger is checked on a timer. An instant trigger is reported by the app itself the moment the event happens, as all of Nomod's are.
- Filter
- A step that lets the Zap continue only when the incoming data meets your condition, and stops it quietly otherwise.
- Search step
- A step that looks up something already stored in an app, so the steps after it can reuse what it found.
What a Nomod Zap really costs
The 16 triggers are free. Each action that succeeds costs one task.
- Triggers16, all instant, never counted
- Each successful action1 task
- Free plan100 tasks a month, two-step Zaps
- Premium appNo, works on the free plan
A trigger never uses a task, and neither does waiting for the next payment. Every action that goes through is counted on its own; one that fails is not billed. A Zap that creates a customer, then an invoice, uses two tasks per run. The free plan gives 100 tasks a month and unlimited Zaps, and Nomod is not a premium app, so it works there. The catch: on the free plan a Zap stays at two steps, one trigger and one action. Add a search, a filter or a second action and it becomes a multi-step Zap, which needs a paid plan. Since all Nomod triggers are instant, the polling grid below never slows them down.
Connect Nomod to Zapier in 3 steps
- 01
Open your connections
In Zapier, go to the Apps page of your account and click + Add connection. A connection is your Nomod account linked once, then reused by every step that needs it.
- 02
Pick Nomod
Type Nomod in the search box of the dialog, select it, then click Add connection. A new tab opens on the Nomod side. You need an existing Nomod merchant account at this point.
- 03
Sign in and allow access
Log in to Nomod in that tab and grant Zapier access to the account. If the Zap should act on links, invoices or team members you do not manage yourself, check that your login has the rights to touch them.
Your first Zap with Nomod
GoalBill every new Nomod customer automatically, but only when the data is complete.
- 01
Build: set the trigger
Create a Zap, pick Nomod as the app that starts it and New Customer as the event. Then choose the Nomod connection you just added.
- 02
Test the trigger
Run the test. Zapier brings back the three most recent customers of the account, so you map the next steps from a real record rather than a guess.
- 03
Add a filter
Click the plus icon, choose Filter and set the field, the rule and the value, so only customers with the details you need go on. This makes the Zap multi-step, so a paid plan.
- 04
Build: add Create Invoice
Add Nomod again, pick Create Invoice, map the customer from the trigger into Customer ID, then fill currency, item name, amount, quantity and due date.
- 05
Test, then publish
Run the action once and check the invoice in Nomod. If it looks right, click Publish. You will see a lightning bolt in the editor: the trigger is instant.
The 16 Nomod triggers
16 events start a Zap when something happens in Nomod, and 16 of them are instant: the app calls Zapier straight away, whatever your plan.
Charge Refund
Instant triggerIn Zapier“Triggers when there's a new refund.”
Fires whenever a refund is issued on one of your charges, so the money going back out is recorded in your other tools without anyone copying it across from Nomod.
Dispute Lost
Instant triggerIn Zapier“Triggers when a dispute lost.”
Tells you when a dispute on one of your payments has been decided against you. That is money you will not see, and the sooner finance knows, the cleaner the month-end.
Dispute Won
Instant triggerIn Zapier“Triggers when a dispute won.”
The good-news twin of the previous one: it starts the Zap when a dispute is settled in your favor, so the payment you fought for can be marked as safe.
Invoice Overdue
Instant triggerIn Zapier“Triggers when an invoice becomes overdue.”
Kicks in when an invoice passes its due date without being paid. It is the trigger for chasing, before the customer forgets the deal altogether.
Invoice Paid
Instant triggerIn Zapier“Triggers when an invoice gets paid.”
Starts the Zap as soon as a customer settles one of your invoices. It closes the loop opened by Create Invoice or by an invoice sent from Nomod itself.
In-Person Paid
Instant triggerIn Zapier“Triggers when an in-person charge gets paid.”
Covers the counter and the market stall: it fires when a charge taken face to face gets paid, with Tap to Pay or a QR code for instance.
Link Paid
Instant triggerIn Zapier“Triggers when a payment link gets paid.”
Probably the one you will use first. A customer pays one of your payment links, and the Zap starts with the payment in hand.
New Customer
Instant triggerIn Zapier“Triggers when a new customer is created.”
Reacts each time a customer record appears in Nomod, whoever or whatever created it, including a Zap using Create Customer.
New Dispute
Instant triggerIn Zapier“Triggers when a new dispute is received.”
Raises the flag the moment a customer contests a payment. Of all 16 triggers, this is the one where speed matters most, since someone has to gather proof.
New Invoice
Instant triggerIn Zapier“Triggers when a new invoice is created.”
Notices every invoice created in Nomod, paid or not yet, so your other systems learn what you have billed and not only what you have collected.
New Link
Instant triggerIn Zapier“Triggers when a new payment link is created.”
Spots each payment link the moment it is created, by you, a teammate or a Zap, before anyone has paid it.
New Referral
Instant triggerIn Zapier“Triggers when a new referral completes the signup process.”
Goes off when someone you referred to Nomod finishes signing up. It concerns your referrals, not your customers or their payments.
Payment Failed
Instant triggerIn Zapier“Triggers when a charge fails.”
Catches the charges that did not go through. A failed payment is a customer who wanted to buy, which makes this the most valuable alert after disputes.
Referral Paid
Instant triggerIn Zapier“Triggers when a referral gets paid.”
Lets you know the moment one of your referrals gets paid in Nomod. It is the second half of New Referral: one says they joined, this one says the referral reached the paid stage.
refferal_paid on Zapier's side; pick it by its label, Referral Paid, in the editor.Successful Payout
Instant triggerIn Zapier“Triggers when there's a new payout.”
Fires when Nomod sends a payout, the moment your collected money leaves for your bank. It is what your accountant actually reconciles against.
Team Member Joins
Instant triggerIn Zapier“Triggers when a new team member joins.”
The only trigger about people inside your business: it starts when a new team member joins your Nomod account.
The 9 Nomod actions
Nomod gives you 9 actions. For each one: what it does for you, when to reach for it, and what to watch out for.

Switches a disabled payment link back on, identified by its Link ID.
Refund Charge
ActionIn Zapier“Refunds a paid charge.”
Sends money back on a paid charge, given the Charge ID and the amount to refund.
The 4 Nomod searches
4 search steps look for data that already exists in Nomod, so a later step can use it.
Searches sit at the bottom of the action list in the editor, under the SEARCH heading. They fetch an existing record so the next step can use it. Three settings decide what happens when the search comes back empty or crowded.
Find Charge
SearchIn Zapier“Finds an existing charge.”
Looks up an existing charge so a later step can use its details, typically its Charge ID.
Find Customer
SearchIn Zapier“Finds an existing customer.”
Retrieves a customer already stored in Nomod and hands that record to the next step.
Find Invoice
SearchIn Zapier“Finds an existing invoice.”
Pulls up an invoice that already exists, with its shipping address option, so you can act on it later in the Zap.
Find Link
SearchIn Zapier“Finds an existing payment link.”
Finds a payment link already created in Nomod, along with its shipping and tip options.
The three settings every search exposes
- Successful if no search results are found?Left on its default, a search that finds nothing stops the Zap there. Switch it on and the Zap carries on empty-handed.
- Create X if it doesn't exist yet? This box turns a search into find-or-create. None of the Nomod searches offers it, so a missing record means adding Create Customer yourself.
- If multiple search results are found?Keep the first match, which is the default, stop the Zap, or pass every match on at once.
When a Nomod Zap breaks
Zapier lists no help article and no app-specific limit for Nomod. The cases below come from how Zapier works and from the required fields of the Nomod actions.
Six situations explain most of the surprises with a payment app. Most of them do not show up as a clear error, which is why they are worth knowing before you publish. If one of them bites anyway, the Zapier troubleshooting guide walks through the fixes.
Past payments never come through
A Zap only reacts to what happens after it is switched on. Payments, invoices and disputes from before you published stay out, and moving them is a separate job.A refund that refunds itself
A Zap that writes where its own trigger watches restarts itself. Charge Refund plus Refund Charge, or New Customer plus Create Customer, can loop and burn tasks.A missing ID stops the action
Create Invoice needs a Customer ID, the link actions a Link ID, Refund Charge a Charge ID. If no earlier step provides it, the action fails for that run.The due date is refused
Create Invoice expects its due date as year, month and day separated by dashes. A date in another format from your CRM or form will not go through.A busy day gets held back
If a trigger suddenly sends a huge batch, after an import or a busy sales event, Zapier's flood protection can hold the runs back before they go out.A search finds nothing
By default a search with no result stops the Zap and skips the steps that depend on it. Turn on the empty-result setting if the Zap should carry on.
