The Paravo Zapier integration gives you 2 triggers and no action, with no search step. Both triggers are instant: one fires when your firm buys a lead, the other when a lead goes back to the marketplace. Everything that follows happens in your other apps.

What the Paravo Zapier integration does for a law firm
Paravo is an AI platform for law firms that combines lead generation, case management and a marketplace of vetted solicitors. Hooking it up to Zapier means the leads your firm buys on Paravo do not stay inside Paravo: the moment one is purchased, or handed back, Zapier can carry it into your CRM, your team chat or your intake spreadsheet.
Three outcomes cover most firms. A CRM that is never behind: New Purchased Lead starts a Zap that creates the contact in your CRM. A fee earner who knows straight away: the same trigger can post the new lead to the team channel of whoever handles intake. A pipeline that stays honest: Lead Released tells your other tools that a lead went back to the marketplace, so nobody chases it.
Now the limits. Paravo has no action and no search step in Zapier: a Zap can listen to Paravo, never write to it. Buying a lead, releasing one or updating a case still happens inside Paravo. A Zap also ignores leads bought before you switched it on. And a Zap on Lead Released does not undo what a purchase Zap already did elsewhere; it only starts new steps.
Both triggers are instant, so your plan never delays them. If you are weighing other automation tools for your firm, read n8n vs Zapier and Zapier alternatives.
Zapier words in one minute
Seven terms carry the page. Each is explained once here, then used without a reminder.
- Zap
- The automation you build in Zapier: one trigger, then one or more actions that run every time that trigger event happens.
- Trigger
- The event in an app that starts the Zap. Paravo offers two, and once the Zap is on, Zapier waits for them.
- Action
- The step that does the work after the trigger. Paravo has none, so every action in a Paravo Zap belongs to another app.
- Task
- The unit Zapier bills: one action your Zap completes successfully. The allowance on your plan counts those.
- Polling vs instant
- Zapier checks a polling trigger on a timer. An instant trigger is reported by the app itself, the moment the event occurs.
- Filter
- A step that lets the Zap go on only when the incoming data meets your condition, and stops it otherwise.
- Multi-step Zap
- Any Zap beyond one trigger and one action. A second action, a filter or a search makes it one, and it then needs a paid plan.
What a Paravo Zap costs your firm
Paravo is not reserved for paid plans: it works on the free plan. You pay for what happens after the lead arrives, never for the lead arriving.
- Paravo triggersfree, never counted
- Each successful action1 task
- Failed actionnot counted
- Free plan100 tasks a month, 2-step Zaps
- Filter or second actionmulti-step Zap, paid plan
New Purchased Lead and Lead Released never cost a task. Each action that succeeds in another app counts as one: creating the CRM contact is one task, posting to the team channel is another. An action that fails is not counted. The free plan gives 100 tasks a month and unlimited Zaps, each limited to one trigger and one action. Add a second action or a filter and it becomes a multi-step Zap, which needs a paid plan. The interval grid below concerns polling triggers only; it does not apply to Paravo's triggers.
Connect Paravo to Zapier
- 01
Open the Apps page
In your Zapier account, go to Apps and click + Add connection. You need a Paravo account, plus read or write access on any leads you do not own yourself and want a Zap to follow.
- 02
Pick Paravo
Type Paravo in the search box of the dialog, select it, then click Add connection. A new tab opens on the Paravo side, where both accounts get linked.
- 03
Sign in and grant access
Sign in to Paravo in that tab and allow Zapier to reach the account. The connection is saved, and both Paravo triggers reuse it in every Zap you build.
Your first Paravo Zap, step by step
GoalEach time your firm buys a lead, create the contact in your CRM and alert the intake team.
- 01
Build: pick the trigger
Create a Zap, choose Paravo as the app and New Purchased Lead as the event that starts it, then select your Paravo connection.
- 02
Test the trigger
Run the test. Zapier brings back the three most recent items of the connected account, so you map the next steps on a real lead rather than a guess.
- 03
Create the CRM contact
Add your CRM as the first action and map the lead's details into the contact fields. On the free plan, this two-step Zap is already complete.
- 04
Alert the intake team
Add a chat action and map a short summary of the lead into the message. This second action makes the Zap multi-step, so it needs a paid plan.
- 05
Test, then publish
Test each action and read what came back before moving on, then Publish the Zap to switch it on. If something misbehaves later, start with Zapier troubleshooting.
The 2 Paravo triggers
2 events start a Zap when something happens in Paravo, and 2 of them are instant: the app calls Zapier straight away, whatever your plan.
New Purchased Lead
Instant triggerIn Zapier“Triggers when a new lead is purchased.”
Starts the Zap whenever your firm buys a new lead on Paravo. It is the entry point for everything that should happen once a prospective client is yours: recording them, assigning them, getting in touch. Since Paravo has no action, the useful work happens in the apps you add after it.
Lead Released
Instant triggerIn Zapier“Triggers when a lead is released back to the marketplace.”
Fires when a lead goes back to the Paravo marketplace. It is the counterpart of a purchase: the signal that a prospect is no longer your firm's to pursue, so your other tools can stop treating it as live.
When a Paravo Zap breaks
Zapier attaches no help article to Paravo and lists no app-specific limit. What breaks comes from general Zapier rules and from Paravo being listen-only.
Four situations explain most surprises. It pays to know them before your firm relies on the Zap for intake.
Earlier leads never arrive
A Zap only reacts to leads bought or released after it is switched on. Older ones are not picked up; moving that backlog is a separate job.A release does not undo a purchase
When Lead Released fires, the contact your purchase Zap created stays where it is. Only the steps you add to the release Zap change anything.Nothing can be written back
Paravo has no action in Zapier. A Zap cannot buy, release or update a lead in Paravo; those steps stay manual inside the platform.A burst gets held back
If a large batch of leads changes hands at once, Zapier's flood protection can pause the trigger instead of running every item.
