What is the best ecommerce marketing automation software in 2026?
Eight tools ranked to recover carts, win repeat orders and wake up lapsed buyers, with what each one really costs at your list size.
If your store runs on Shopify and already sells every week, go with Klaviyo: no other tool squeezes more out of your order data. Want most of that for less? Omnisend runs the core flows for a much smaller bill. Just starting out? Use what you already pay for: Shopify Messaging includes 10,000 emails a month and free abandoned checkout emails.
Need branching logic and a CRM because you also sell wholesale? ActiveCampaign. Big list, light sending, tight budget? Brevo. Below: the real price of each at 1,000 and 10,000 contacts, the flows to switch on first, and what US texting rules mean for your SMS.
Some links may be affiliate links. The ranking is editorial: a sponsored spot is always labeled on its card, and no affiliate link changes a score.

Read the "Best at" column first, then the entry price. The entry price never tells the whole story: your bill follows your contact count, and each tool counts contacts differently. The "Real price" section below breaks that down.

How we compared and ranked
We started from a US merchant with a few hundred to a few tens of thousands of customers, selling on Shopify, WooCommerce or BigCommerce. The question isn't "which tool has the most features?". It's "which one will get my customers to buy again without blowing up my bill?". We compared fifteen or so tools, read their official pricing and feature pages, then checked those promises against what merchants say in Shopify App Store reviews and store-owner forums.
Most top results for this search mix B2B lead-gen platforms with store tools, quote entry prices without the billing unit, and skip SMS compliance entirely. We only rank tools that sync orders and carts from a store and publish their prices. Text-only platforms such as Postscript and Attentive are covered separately below.
The scores shown are the same ones we use on every page, taken from our detailed reviews where they exist. The ranking follows those scores. The weighted criteria below are how we judge fit for a store, and they shape each tool's card: who it suits, and where it stops.
- Ecommerce depthOrder and product sync, ready flows (cart, browse, post-purchase, winback), purchase-based segments, RFM. This is why you buy a dedicated tool.35%
- Real cost at 1,000 and 10,000 contactsThe entry price, but mostly how contacts are counted and what the bill becomes when your list grows.25%
- Store integrationsShopify, WooCommerce, BigCommerce: sync quality and the plan it requires.20%
- ChannelsSMS for US shoppers: which plan, what price, and the consent tools that keep you TCPA-safe.10%
- Ease of use and supportInterface, ready templates, human support, merchant feedback.10%
Some links may be affiliate links. The ranking is editorial: a sponsored spot is always labeled on its card, and no affiliate link changes a score.
Klaviyo
Klaviyo is the name every Shopify merchant hears first, and for good reason. It reads your store in real time: every product viewed, every cart, every order and refund turns into an event you can use to trigger a message or build a segment. A "flow" is that automated sequence: emails or texts that go out on their own when a shopper does (or doesn't do) something.
Where it pulls ahead is the data. Klaviyo predicts each customer's lifetime value, churn risk and expected date of next order. So you can nudge a repeat buyer a few days before they usually reorder, instead of blasting your whole list. Native RFM analysis (recency, frequency, monetary value: who bought recently, often, and for how much) exists too, but it sits on a higher subscription and needs history: at least 500 customers with orders, 180 days of order data and an order in the last 30 days.
The catch is the bill. Klaviyo charges by active profile, meaning every contact you can reach, not just the ones you email. A signup form flooded by bots or an old imported list inflates your invoice without bringing in a dollar. Unhappy merchants all say the same thing: watch that counter from month one.
- Prebuilt flows for abandoned cart, browse abandonment, post-purchase and winback
- Per-customer predictions: lifetime value, churn risk, next order date
- Email and SMS on one profile, one segment, one report
- Native RFM analysis on higher subscriptions
- ✓The deepest order data in this ranking
- ✓Ecommerce flow templates you can switch on in minutes
- ✓A huge ecosystem: agencies, tutorials, integrations
- ✗Billed by active profile: dormant contacts and bots cost money
- ✗RFM and advanced predictions are not on the entry plan
- ✗No human support on the free plan
Our first pick if your store already sells every week and someone on your team will actually run the tool. Before you subscribe, clean your list and block bot signups: that is what keeps the bill sane. With only a few hundred customers, Omnisend or Shopify Messaging will cost you less for a similar result.
Omnisend
Omnisend covers most of what Klaviyo does for a noticeably lower bill at most list sizes. The ecommerce flows come ready: welcome, abandoned cart, browse abandonment, post-purchase, winback. The drag-and-drop editor pulls in your products and unique discount codes. In Shopify merchant forums, the same story keeps coming back: a store moves from Klaviyo to Omnisend, pays roughly half, and can't name anything it misses day to day.
Two traps to know. First, SMS: for a paid account opened in 2026, texting is reserved for the Pro plan at $59. If SMS is part of your plan, budget for Pro from the start. US texts then run from $0.009 down to $0.007 each depending on what you spend, and SMS credits expire after 60 days. Second, Omnisend bills "billable contacts", which include shoppers who went through checkout without subscribing. Your invoice can grow without a single new newsletter signup.
On the merchant side, a few owners report an account frozen for a compliance review before their very first send, and support that leans more and more on an AI assistant. Set up your sending domain (SPF and DKIM, the records that prove to inboxes your mail really comes from you) before you import your list.
- Ready ecommerce flows: cart, browse, post-purchase, winback
- Standard email credits equal 12 times your billable contacts
- Unlimited emails on Pro
- Pop-ups and signup forms included
- ✓About half the price of Klaviyo at similar usage, per merchant reports
- ✓Fast setup, clear flow templates
- ✓30% off when you prepay 3 months
- ✗SMS limited to Pro for new paid accounts
- ✗Checkout customers count as billable contacts
- ✗Fewer predictions and less fine segmentation than Klaviyo
The right call for most stores between 500 and 20,000 contacts. Take Standard if you only send email, Pro if you want texts. And prepay 3 months the first time: 30% off while you build your flows.
Shopify Messaging (Shopify Email)
If you sell on Shopify, you already own a marketing automation tool, and plenty of merchants forget it. Shopify Messaging (formerly Shopify Email) gives you 10,000 emails a month, then charges $1 per 1,000 extra emails on your Shopify bill. Abandoned checkout emails are always free and don't count toward that limit.
The basic automations are ready: welcome, abandoned checkout, winback, upsell, thank-you after purchase. Your products, prices and customers are already there, with no sync to configure and no app to approve. For a store doing its first few hundred orders, that is often enough for quite a while.
The ceiling shows up when you want to segment finely: by product bought, purchase frequency, average order value. Agencies put it bluntly: the native cart reminder is one simple message, without the branching by segment you would build in Klaviyo or Omnisend. Texting is available in select countries and billed per use. And the tool only works on Shopify.
- 10,000 emails a month included
- Abandoned checkout emails free and outside the quota
- Store data with zero sync
- One invoice with your Shopify plan
- ✓Nothing to install or connect
- ✓The cheapest way to start
- ✓Shopify support you already know
- ✗Shopify only
- ✗Simpler segments and flows than dedicated tools
- ✗SMS billed separately
Start here if your Shopify store has fewer than a few thousand customers. Turn on the core flows and track their revenue for three months. The day you want to segment by buying behavior, move to Omnisend or Klaviyo.
ActiveCampaign
ActiveCampaign has one of the most complete automation engines on the market: unlimited steps from Plus, if/else branches, goals (the automation stops once the customer buys), conditional content and predictive sending. If your store also sells wholesale, or a sales rep calls back big carts, this is the tool that blends ecommerce and pipeline follow-up best.
The trap is in the plans. Starter caps each automation at 5 actions and is email only. The Shopify Plus, Magento and BigCommerce integrations are reserved for Pro. A serious store therefore aims for Plus at minimum, and Pro depending on its platform. At 10,000 contacts, Plus moves to $189 a month billed yearly: the price follows every contact you keep.
On pure ecommerce, it is less equipped than Klaviyo: fewer ready-made store flows, no per-customer prediction of the next order. You pick it for its automation logic, not for a library of Shopify recipes.
- Unlimited steps, branches and goals from Plus
- Conditional content and predictive sending on Pro
- Sales CRM as an add-on
- 950+ automation recipes
- ✓The most flexible automation builder in this ranking
- ✓Blends ecommerce and sales follow-up
- ✓14-day trial without a credit card
- ✗Starter capped at 5 actions per automation, no SMS
- ✗Shopify Plus, Magento and BigCommerce only on Pro
- ✗Price climbs fast with contacts
Choose it when your automations go beyond the store: B2B, sales callbacks, follow-ups with several conditions. For a standard Shopify store, Klaviyo or Omnisend give you more ready recipes for less money.
Brevo
Brevo (formerly Sendinblue) bills mainly by emails sent rather than contacts stored. For a store with a big list and a light sending calendar, the difference is real: 10,000 contacts mailed twice a month need the 20,000-email tier, which costs $69 on Standard with the logo off and automation unlimited. It covers marketing email, transactional email (order confirmation, shipping), SMS, and connects to Shopify and WooCommerce.
The trap is in the plans. On Free and Starter, automations stop at 2,000 contacts. A store that wants cart reminders across its whole base has to move to Standard, from $18 a month. Starter, the plan pushed on the pricing page, does almost nothing for automation. It also keeps the Brevo logo in your emails unless you add $12 a month.
On ecommerce depth, Brevo sits below Klaviyo and Omnisend: no per-customer predictions, simpler purchase-based segments. But for a cost-conscious store that sends a few campaigns a month to a large list, it is hard to beat on price.
- Billed by emails sent, not contacts stored
- Email, SMS and transactional in one account
- Free plan stores up to 100,000 contacts
- Shopify app and WooCommerce plugin
- ✓Cheapest bill for a big list with light sending
- ✓Standard unlocks unlimited automation for $18
- ✓Prepaid credits that never expire
- ✗Automations capped at 2,000 contacts on Free and Starter
- ✗Logo removal costs $12 a month on Starter
- ✗Purchase-based segments less refined than Klaviyo
Skip Starter and go straight to Standard if you want to automate: Starter blocks your flows at 2,000 contacts. It's our pick for a big list on a tight budget, not for a store that wants Klaviyo-level segmentation.
Privy
Privy started as a pop-up tool, and it shows: its strength is turning visitors into subscribers with signup pop-ups, flyouts and bars, then sending the welcome and cart emails behind them. Contacts sync automatically to Shopify, BigCommerce and Wix, and the forms can also feed Klaviyo if you outgrow Privy's email side.
The pricing is simple to read. You pay by mailable contacts: $30 a month up to 1,500, $45 up to 2,000, $180 between 10,001 and 11,000. Every plan includes 250 SMS credits, and you add SMS packs on top (1,250 credits for $20, 5,000 for $80). A store with 2,000 mailable contacts and 5,000 SMS credits pays $125 a month.
The limit is depth. Privy's flows cover the classics, but you won't find predictions, RFM or the fine segmentation of Klaviyo. And there's no free plan, only a 15-day trial. Many merchants end up using Privy for capture and Klaviyo for the rest.
- Pop-ups, flyouts and bars built for list growth
- 250 SMS credits included on every plan
- Syncs with Shopify, BigCommerce and Wix
- Can feed signups to Klaviyo
- ✓Very quick to set up
- ✓Clear tiers by mailable contact
- ✓Email and SMS on one bill
- ✗No free plan, 15-day trial only
- ✗Lighter segmentation and no predictions
- ✗Expensive at scale compared with Omnisend
Pick Privy if your list is small and growing it is the job right now. Once your flows need product-level segments, keep Privy for capture and move email to Omnisend or Klaviyo.
Mailchimp
Mailchimp is still the best-known name in email, and its editor is one of the simplest. It also has its own Shopify app, built by Intuit Mailchimp, that pulls Shopify data into segments and sends abandoned cart reminders. WooCommerce works well too.
The problem is the plan ladder. On Free, automated journeys aren't included. On Essentials, a journey is capped at 4 steps: barely enough for a two-email cart reminder plus a condition. You need Standard to get up to 200 automated flows, and the price follows your contact count from there.
We keep it in the ranking because it is solid for plain email, with good reports and decent support. But if you're starting a store from scratch, the tools above give you more ecommerce logic for the same budget.
- One of the simplest email editors
- Shopify app built by Mailchimp, with cart reminders
- Up to 200 automated flows on Standard
- Strong campaign reporting
- ✓Very easy to learn
- ✓Great for newsletters
- ✓Works with Shopify and WooCommerce
- ✗No automated journeys on Free, 4 steps on Essentials
- ✗Price follows contacts, including inactive ones
- ✗Less ecommerce depth than Klaviyo or Omnisend
Stay if you're already there and your needs are simple. If you want real ecommerce flows, plan for Standard at least, or price Omnisend before you renew.
Drip
Drip was built for online stores: visual workflows, segments on orders, Shopify and WooCommerce integrations. Its pricing is simple: you pay by contact count, and sends are unlimited. For a store that emails several times a week, that is a real plus.
The downside is scale. No free plan, $39 from day one, then $154 at 10,000 contacts and a jump to $699 at 50,000. A/B tests are limited to the subject line, where Klaviyo and Omnisend also test content and flows. Texting is a paid add-on, and live chat support is reserved for larger accounts.
It keeps a loyal base among brands that have used it for years. For a store choosing today, it ranks behind the leaders on price and on depth.
- Visual workflows built for stores
- Unlimited sends on every tier
- Shopify and WooCommerce integrations
- 14-day trial
- ✓Readable pricing: one tier per contact band
- ✓Unlimited sends
- ✓Well-rated support
- ✗No free plan
- ✗A/B tests limited to the subject line
- ✗Steep jump to $699 at 50,000 contacts
Worth a look if you send a lot to fewer than 10,000 contacts and visual workflows click for you. Beyond that, or if SMS matters, Klaviyo and Omnisend are better placed.
What you'll actually pay as your list grows
The entry price is bait. What matters is how the tool counts your contacts and what it charges once your list grows. Here are the four billing models, and the trap in each.
Billing models
By active profile: Klaviyo
The bot trapKlaviyo counts every profile you can reach, even if you never email it. The Email plan starts at $20 a month for 251 to 500 active profiles, Email + SMS at $35. Above that, the calculator on the pricing page gives your number. First move: put a CAPTCHA or double opt-in on your signup forms, and suppress profiles that haven't opened or bought in a long time. Nearly every merchant complaining about the bill found this out too late.
- Free
- 250 active profiles, 500 emails a month
- Paid entry
- $20 a month (Email)
By billable contact: Omnisend
Checkout buyers countOmnisend bills "billable contacts", which include non-subscribers who receive your automated messages, such as a customer who checked out without subscribing. Standard starts at $16 for 500 contacts, with email credits equal to 12 times your contact count (3,000 contacts give you 36,000 emails). Pro starts at $59 with unlimited email and SMS access. Tip: prepaying 3 months takes 30% off, or $11.20 a month on Standard and $41.30 on Pro.
- Standard
- $16 a month (500 contacts)
- Pro
- $59 a month, SMS included
By emails sent: Brevo and Shopify Messaging
Cheapest for big listsBrevo and Shopify Messaging mostly bill what you send. At Brevo, 10,000 contacts mailed twice a month cost $69 on Standard. At Shopify, the first 10,000 emails each month are included, then $1 per 1,000. With a big list and a light calendar, this is the cheapest model. The Brevo trap: automations capped at 2,000 contacts on Free and Starter.
- Brevo Standard
- From $18 a month
- Shopify
- 10,000 emails a month included
By contact tier: ActiveCampaign, Privy, Mailchimp, Drip
Price follows your listThese four set a price per contact band. ActiveCampaign Plus costs $49 a month at 1,000 contacts billed yearly, and $189 at 10,000. Privy runs $30 up to 1,500 mailable contacts and $180 around 10,000. Drip charges $39 up to 2,500 contacts, $154 at 10,000 and $699 at 50,000, with unlimited sends. Mailchimp Essentials starts at $13 and Standard at $20 for 500 contacts. Before you choose, price the tool at double your current list: that's where you'll be in a year or two.
- ActiveCampaign Plus
- $49 at 1,000, $189 at 10,000
- Drip
- $39 at 2,500, $154 at 10,000
The 7 flows to switch on, in this order
A marketing automation tool earns nothing until its flows are live. Here is the order we recommend, with the settings that make the difference and which tools handle each one.
The flows
Welcome series: your first automated sale
Highest returnSwitch this on first. A new subscriber hasn't bought yet, and will never pay closer attention than right after signing up. Three emails are enough: the promised code right away, your brand story two days later, your best sellers with a code reminder after that. Exit the flow as soon as they buy: every tool in this ranking supports a "placed order" condition.
- Available
- Every ranked tool
- Emails
- 3
Abandoned cart: two or three messages, no more
The classicFirst message one hour after the abandon, no discount: a simple reminder with the product photo. Second message the next day, with that product's reviews. Third, if needed, with a small incentive. Never put a code in the first email: shoppers learn fast to abandon carts to get one. On Shopify Messaging, abandoned checkout emails are free and outside the quota; on Brevo, make sure your plan isn't capped at 2,000 contacts in automations.
- Available
- All; Mailchimp capped at 4 steps on Essentials
- Tip
- No discount in message one
Browse abandonment: they looked but never added to cart
Often skippedA known visitor views the same product three times and leaves. Send one simple email the next day with that product and two close alternatives. This flow needs on-site tracking: it's native in Klaviyo and Omnisend, and needs web tracking on Brevo (Standard plan for uncapped automation).
- Best equipped
- Klaviyo, Omnisend
- Requires
- On-site tracking
Post-purchase: set up the second order
RetentionA customer who just bought is your best prospect. Send a useful email on delivery (how to use or care for the product), a review request a week later, then a complementary product. For a consumable, time the last message to real usage: a 30-day supply calls for a reminder on day 25. Klaviyo does this on its own with its predicted next order date.
- Available
- Every ranked tool
- Most precise
- Klaviyo (predicted next order date)
Winback: bring lapsed buyers back
Before it's too lateA customer who hasn't reordered in twice their usual gap is drifting away. Run a two-step winback: a "been a while" email with what's new, then a reserved offer. If they still don't react, remove them from regular sends. You protect deliverability, and at Klaviyo you also shrink your active profile bill.
- Trigger
- Time since last order
- Bonus
- Fewer billed active profiles
RFM: know who your best customers are
Next levelRFM stands for recency, frequency, monetary value. You group customers by last purchase date, order count and total spend. Champions get early access, at-risk buyers get a winback, new buyers get onboarding. In Klaviyo, native RFM needs a higher subscription and at least 500 customers with orders. Elsewhere, build three simple segments by hand with order conditions: that's most of the value already.
- Native
- Klaviyo (higher subscription)
- By hand
- Omnisend, ActiveCampaign, Drip, Brevo
SMS: only for messages that can't wait, and only with written consent
Handle with careKeep texts for high-value cart recovery, flash sales and shipping updates, and cap them at one marketing text a week. In the US, the FCC's TCPA rules require prior express written consent for marketing texts sent with an autodialer, which is how SMS platforms send: use a dedicated SMS opt-in checkbox or keyword, never a pre-checked box, and honor STOP replies promptly. The FCC bars telephone solicitations before 8 a.m. or after 9 p.m. at the recipient's location, so keep marketing texts inside that window; some states set tighter windows, so check yours. Plan-wise: Email + SMS at $35 on Klaviyo, Pro required on Omnisend for new paid accounts, $21 for 1,000 credits on ActiveCampaign, 250 free credits on every Privy plan, pay as you go on Shopify.
- Included from
- Klaviyo Email + SMS, Omnisend Pro, Privy
- Add-on
- ActiveCampaign, Shopify Messaging, Drip
What makes a marketing automation project fail
In merchant forums, the regrets always land in the same places. Here's how to avoid them.
Switching tools every six months
Every migration loses flow history, test results and often some deliverability while the new domain warms up. Before you move, measure what your flows and campaigns bring in, and count the contacts that are truly active. If your flows earn little, the tool is rarely the real problem.
Paying for dead contacts
On Klaviyo and Omnisend, an inactive contact costs as much as a loyal one. Once a quarter, send a last-chance email to inactive subscribers, then suppress the ones who don't respond.
Buying the entry plan without reading its limits
Brevo Starter caps automations at 2,000 contacts, ActiveCampaign Starter at 5 actions, Mailchimp Essentials at 4 steps, Omnisend keeps SMS for Pro. Read the "automation" line of each plan before you pay.
Collecting phone numbers without SMS consent
An email signup is not permission to text. A phone number grabbed at checkout without a separate SMS consent is a TCPA risk, and class actions over marketing texts are common in the US. Use the compliant opt-in forms your tool provides and keep the consent record.
- Does the tool pull abandoned carts from my platform, not just orders?
- What will I pay at double my current list?
- Are automations capped on the plan I'm eyeing?
- Is SMS included, an add-on, or locked to a higher plan?
- Are SPF, DKIM and DMARC set on my sending domain?
Other tools: good, but not for this question
These tools come up in the same searches. They aren't ranked because they serve a different need or don't publish prices.
Other tools
Postscript and Attentive: US SMS specialists
Text onlyBoth are built for SMS marketing to US shoppers, with compliance tooling and Shopify integrations. Postscript has a $0 Starter plan with a $49 monthly minimum spend, and its rates cover the US and Canada only. Attentive quotes on request, based on list size and messages sent. Consider them once texting is a major revenue channel; until then, the SMS inside Klaviyo or Omnisend is enough.
- Postscript
- $49 monthly minimum spend
- Attentive
- Quote on request
HubSpot: if your store already lives in a CRM
Built for B2BHubSpot Marketing Hub is very complete, but designed for B2B sales and lead tracking. Starter seats list at $20 a month, and Professional runs $800 a month billed yearly plus a $3,000 onboarding fee. For a store, that's a lot of money for few ready-made ecommerce recipes.
- Starter
- $20 per seat, list price
- Professional
- $800 a month + $3,000
Customer.io: for app-style brands with developers
API firstCustomer.io is built around events you send through its API, which suits subscription apps and brands with a developer on staff. Essentials starts at $100 a month for 5,000 profiles. It has no ready Shopify flows, so expect build time.

Ecommerce marketing automation FAQ
What's the difference between email marketing and ecommerce marketing automation?
Email marketing means sending a campaign to a list on a date you choose. Marketing automation means a message goes out on its own when a shopper does something: abandons a cart, buys for the first time, hasn't come back in four months. In a store, those automated flows often earn more per email than newsletters because they land at the right moment. Every tool ranked here does both.
What is the best marketing automation app for Shopify?
Klaviyo if your store sells steadily and you want to use your order data. Omnisend if you want the essentials for less. If you're just starting, use Shopify Messaging first: it's included in your plan with 10,000 emails a month and free abandoned checkout emails. Switch when you want to segment by buying behavior.
Is Klaviyo worth it for a small store?
Usually not below a few hundred customers. At that size, Shopify Messaging or Omnisend Standard ($16 a month) covers the same core flows. Klaviyo starts paying for itself once you have enough order history to use its predictions and segments, and someone who checks the active profile count every month so bots and dead contacts don't inflate the bill.
How much does ecommerce marketing automation cost?
Between $0 and about $50 a month up to roughly 2,000 contacts. Shopify Messaging is included with Shopify, Omnisend Standard starts at $16, Brevo Standard at $18, Klaviyo Email at $20 up to 500 active profiles. At 10,000 contacts the gap widens: $69 on Brevo Standard for two sends a month, $154 on Drip, $189 on ActiveCampaign Plus. Always compare at your list size, not the entry price.
Do I need SMS, and what does the TCPA require?
Add SMS for urgent, short messages: cart recovery on bigger orders, flash sales, shipping. Under the FCC's TCPA rules, marketing texts sent with an autodialer need prior express written consent, separate from email consent, a working STOP opt-out, and no telephone solicitations before 8 a.m. or after 9 p.m. at the recipient's location. Klaviyo, Omnisend, Privy and Postscript all ship compliant opt-in forms; use them rather than collecting numbers at checkout without a checkbox.
Can I do marketing automation for free?
Yes, to start. Shopify Messaging includes 10,000 emails a month; Brevo's free plan sends 300 emails a day with automations up to 2,000 contacts; Klaviyo and Omnisend give you 500 emails a month up to 250 contacts. Mailchimp's free plan excludes automated journeys, so it doesn't count here. Past a few hundred customers, a paid plan pays for itself quickly.
Klaviyo or Omnisend: which should I choose?
Omnisend if you want ready flows at a lower price and mostly send email. Klaviyo if you'll use predictions, RFM and fine product segments, and have the volume to justify it. A useful test: price both at your current list and at double it, then check whether you'd really use Klaviyo's predictive features in the next six months.
Which tools work with WooCommerce or BigCommerce?
On WooCommerce, Klaviyo, Omnisend, Brevo, Drip and Mailchimp all connect. On BigCommerce, Klaviyo, Omnisend and Privy sync stores, while ActiveCampaign reserves its BigCommerce integration for the Pro plan. Whatever the platform, confirm the integration pulls abandoned carts, not just orders: that's where most of the revenue sits.
Does deliverability depend on the tool?
A little, but mostly on you. Since 2024, Gmail and Yahoo require bulk senders (more than 5,000 messages a day to Gmail) to authenticate with SPF, DKIM and DMARC and to offer one-click unsubscribe. Set those up on your domain, never import a bought list, and suppress contacts who haven't opened in six months. A clean store list delivers well on any of these tools.
