Helium 10 alternatives: where to go based on what you use, and how to leave cleanly

Six tools in detail, one per module you need to replace, and a nine-step exit plan.

The short answer: Jungle Scout if you want another all-in-one suite for less; Data Dive if Cerebro was the main reason you paid; Sellerboard if you used Helium 10 for profit tracking and review requests; SmartScout for wholesale and brand research; Keepa for price and rank history; SellerSprite for cheap reverse ASIN lookups. Plenty of sellers swap Helium 10 for two focused tools rather than another suite. Before you cancel, know one rule: Helium 10 only gives a full refund within the first seven days of a subscription, and an annual renewal that already went through almost never comes back. We compared these six tools and checked their prices and marketplaces in 2026.

Our ranking is editorial: a sponsored spot is always labeled on its card, and no affiliate link changes a score.

The real reasons

Why sellers are leaving Helium 10 in 2026

Helium 10 is still the most complete Amazon seller suite, and it keeps a 4.4/5 in our Amazon tool rankings. Cerebro is still widely called the best reverse ASIN tool around. The 2026 exits come from somewhere else: pricing, what the entry plan lost, and how billing is handled. Six reasons keep coming up.

The entry price jumped

The $39 Starter plan was cut in 2026. Platinum is now the only paid way in, and its monthly price went from $99 to $129. Only annual billing stays at $99 a month, which means $1,188 up front. A seller who started at $39 now pays more than three times that to stay month to month. Reviewers keep making the same point: a $30 increase without a single new feature.

Platinum shrank at renewal

Renewing Platinum accounts lost entitlements. Cerebro and Magnet are capped at 100 searches a month. Listing Builder's AI writer is capped at 5 uses for the life of the account, and Alerts at 5 ASINs, also for life. Helium 10 Ads left the plan entirely. A well-known Amazon consultant described the new Platinum with a word we won't repeat. If you run 20 keyword searches a week, you hit the cap before the month ends.

A 2% ad fee with no floor

Helium 10 Ads charges 2% of total spend on ad profiles set to Managed, with no minimum. In 2026 the old threshold went away, so the 2% now applies to the profile's entire spend, including campaigns the tool doesn't run. One small US seller worked it out at about $3,000 a year and called it the last straw. If you don't use the bid automation, that line item buys you nothing.

You only use one module now

The usual story: year one you open Black Box, Cerebro, Profits and the Chrome extension. Later you only run Cerebro, or only check the profit dashboard. At $1,188 a year for a single module, a focused tool costs two to five times less. Several sellers also say the interface feels more cluttered since the TikTok Shop and Walmart tools arrived.

Billing that bites

The terms are clear, and strict. You get a full refund only if you cancel within the first seven days; after that, payments are nonrefundable. Renewal is automatic and you have to cancel before the renewal date. Negative reviews tell the same stories: an annual renewal charged with no reminder, a refund denied the day after, credits offered instead of a cancellation, data missing after renewal. The result is a 2.0/5 score across 700+ reviews on the main consumer review site, with 38% one-star ratings.

Outside the US, you get less

Inventory management isn't available in the UK, according to a seller on the Seller Central Europe forums; it's built for the US and Canada. Listing Builder is missing on Amazon.fr and Amazon.es, and Belgium isn't natively supported. If you sell in Europe, you'll pay US prices for a narrower toolset.

The 6 alternatives

Helium 10 alternatives, tool by tool

For each tool: why switch to it, who it's for, who it isn't for, its catch, how to move over from Helium 10, and what it costs. Scores come from our Amazon tool rankings: a tool carries the same score on every page we publish. Prices are what the vendors listed in 2026, before tax.

01

Jungle Scout: the other suite, for less

Score 4.2/5

Why switch to Jungle Scout. It's the only replacement that covers nearly as much ground: a product database, niche research, keyword research (Keyword Scout), product tracking and sales estimates. Starter costs $49 a month, or $29 a month billed yearly. Growth Accelerator is $79, or $49 yearly. Compared with $1,188 a year for Platinum, you save about $840 in year one on Starter.

Who it's for. Private label sellers who want one subscription to find products and work their keywords, without paying for modules they never open.

Who it isn't for. Heavy Cerebro users. Keyword Scout covers the basics, but sellers who dig through a competitor's keywords ASIN by ASIN find it shallower. Also not for sellers who want automated PPC on the top plan.

The catch. Sales estimates are approximations here like everywhere else. Advanced features often need Growth Accelerator. The money-back guarantee on the US page is 7 days, for new subscriptions only.

How to move over. Export your Cerebro and Magnet lists to CSV before you cancel Helium 10, then bring your priority keywords into Keyword Scout. Rebuild tracking for 10 ASINs and compare both tools for a week on products whose sales you know. If you ever need to go the other way, our guide to leaving Jungle Scout covers it.

02

Data Dive: for sellers who only kept Cerebro

Score 4.1/5

Why switch to Data Dive. If you paid for Platinum mostly for keywords, this is the logical swap. Data Dive analyzes keywords across a set of competitors, scores relevance, tracks rank (Rank Radar) and helps you write the listing. Several comparisons rate it deeper than Cerebro for keyword analysis, and it can even work with data you exported from Cerebro.

Who it's for. Private label brands that live in their listings and Amazon SEO, and that hit Platinum's 100-searches-a-month cap.

Who it isn't for. Sellers still hunting for a product. Data Dive has no product research and no profit tracking.

The catch. Starter ($39 a month, $32 billed yearly) stops at 100 ASINs, 25 Rank Radar keywords, 10 AI writing jobs, one Seller Central account and the main seat only. Standard, at $149 a month ($124 yearly), gets you 1,000 ASINs, 1,000 keywords, 10 team members and API access. The pricing page says nothing about marketplaces or refunds, so ask before you pay.

How to move over. During your last Helium 10 month, export Cerebro runs for your top 5 products and their competitors. Load them into Data Dive so you start from your keyword history instead of from zero.

Sellerboard: replace Profits and Follow-Up

Score 4.5/5

Why switch to Sellerboard. Profits and Follow-Up are two Helium 10 modules many sellers use without touching anything else. Sellerboard does both well: net profit per product after Amazon fees, ads and landed cost, inventory tracking, restock alerts and review request emails. One user says they moved from Helium 10 to Sellerboard because they trusted its profit numbers more.

Who it's for. Established sellers who already know their products and want to see what they actually make, every day, in every marketplace.

Who it isn't for. Sellers looking for their next product or keywords. Sellerboard does no research.

The catch. Standard ($19 a month, $15 billed yearly, or $179 a year) covers 3,000 orders but only 150 review request emails a month. Beyond either you need Professional ($29), Business ($39) or Enterprise ($79).

How to move over. Start the one-month trial, no card needed, before you even cancel. Sellerboard pulls your sales history from Seller Central. Enter your product costs, turn off Helium 10's emails, then switch on Sellerboard's. Our guide to leaving Sellerboard lists its own limits if you're on the fence.

04

SmartScout: wholesale, resale and brand research

Score 4.0/5

Why switch to SmartScout. Black Box finds products. SmartScout finds brands and sellers: which brands are growing in a category, who sells them, and with what share. For a wholesaler pitching brands or a reseller hunting suppliers, it's a different way to work, and it's the name that comes up most among sellers who left Helium 10 after the price increase.

Who it's for. Wholesalers, resellers, and agencies prospecting brands.

Who it isn't for. Private label brands that want to write and optimize listings. The listing tools are thin.

The catch. Basic is $49 a month ($29 yearly) for one user, and each extra user adds $49. Essentials is $119 ($99 yearly), Business $299 ($239 yearly). The money-back window is 7 days, same as Helium 10. Its data is strongest in the US marketplace.

How to move over. There's nothing to import: SmartScout runs on its own data. List the 10 brands or categories you watched in Helium 10 and redo the analysis inside the 7-day window. If the results for your marketplace are good enough, keep it.

05

Keepa: price history for next to nothing

Score 4.1/5

Why switch to Keepa. Part of what Helium 10 does is confirm a product sells all year and holds its price. Keepa does exactly that: years of price, Best Sellers Rank (BSR) and Buy Box charts, right on the Amazon page. It's a staple for resellers, and it pairs well with a keyword tool or a profit tool.

Who it's for. Sellers validating a product before ordering, and anyone who wants to watch a competitor's price without paying for a suite.

Who it isn't for. Anyone who needs keywords, listing help or profit tracking. Keepa does none of that.

The catch. The free extension already shows the charts; alerts and deeper data need a paid subscription (priced on keepa.com), and API access is billed separately. The interface is dense, and reading the charts well takes a few days.

How to move over. Install the extension and recreate price alerts for the 5 ASINs you watched in Helium 10 Alerts, which Platinum now caps at 5 for life. Keep Keepa even if you pick another suite: most sellers run it alongside.

SellerSprite: reverse ASIN on a budget

Score 3.8/5

Why switch to SellerSprite. It covers what Cerebro and Black Box do, reverse ASIN keyword research and product research, for less: Basic at $39 a month, Standard at $79. A Chrome extension and a few tools are free. It covers about ten marketplaces, the UK included, which matters if Helium 10's UK gaps bother you.

Who it's for. Budget-conscious sellers who want a real reverse ASIN tool without paying for Platinum again.

Who it isn't for. Sellers who want PPC management or a long trial before committing.

The catch. The vendor publishes plenty of comparisons that favor itself, so judge it on your trial, not its blog. The trial is only 3 days, on monthly plans. Annual billing ($390 for Basic, $790 for Standard) gives two months free but locks you in for a year.

How to move over. Before the trial, prepare 5 competitor ASINs whose keywords you exported from Cerebro. During the 3 days, run the same lookups and compare volumes and keywords found. If the gap is small, pay monthly for one month before going annual.

Helium 10 and its 6 alternatives side by side

Our default picks: Jungle Scout if you want a suite, Data Dive if you only kept Cerebro, Sellerboard plus Keepa if margin is what matters. Over a year, Helium 10 Platinum costs $1,188 billed yearly, Jungle Scout Starter $348, Data Dive Starter $384, Sellerboard Standard $179. Data Dive plus Sellerboard comes to less than half of Platinum for the two modules people use most.

If the ad fee is why you're leaving, a dedicated PPC tool such as Perpetua, Scale Insights or Teikametrics replaces Helium 10 Ads better than any suite.

Exit plan

Leave Helium 10 in nine steps

Order matters. The first four steps happen before you cancel, the rest after. Each one protects something: your money, your keyword history, your ad budget, your seller account.

01

Write down your renewal date

First

Open Plans & Billing and note the next charge date. Set a reminder two weeks before it. The terms are blunt: you must cancel or change your plan before the renewal date, or it renews.

If you just signed up, count the days. A full refund only applies if you cancel within the first seven days. From day eight, any refund is purely at support's discretion.

Time
five minutes
Risk if rushed
a year paid for nothing
02

Export everything before you cancel

Data

In Cerebro and Magnet, use Export Data (CSV or Excel) on every search you want to keep. Export My List, your tracked keywords and twelve months of Profits reports too. Keyword sales data is US only and needs Platinum or above, so grab it while you still have it.

Don't count on coming back for it later. Customers report finding their old data missing after a renewal, and search history isn't kept forever. One folder per product, with the export date in the file name, is enough.

Time
one to two hours
Risk if rushed
history lost
03

Test the new tool on products you know

During the window

Pick 5 to 10 ASINs whose real sales you know, yours and close competitors'. Compare estimates in Helium 10 and the new tool while both are open. Estimates are approximations everywhere; one seller on the Seller Central Europe forums sees them swing by 20%.

Fit the trial inside the new tool's window: 3 days at SellerSprite, 7 at SmartScout and Jungle Scout, one month at Sellerboard.

Time
one week
Risk if rushed
paying for less accurate data
04

Take your ad profiles off Managed

Money

If you use Helium 10 Ads, switch each ad profile from Managed to unmanaged before your plan ends. As long as a profile is managed, the 2% fee applies to its whole spend, with no floor.

Export your bid rules and negative keyword lists first. You'll rebuild them in Amazon's ad console or your new PPC tool.

Time
half an hour
Risk if rushed
2% charged after you leave
05

Turn off review requests before enabling new ones

Seller account

Turn off Follow-Up campaigns in Helium 10, then turn on your new tool's. Never both at once: a buyer getting two review requests for the same order is a reason to report you to Amazon.

Check the next day in Seller Central's sent messages that only one request goes out per order.

Time
fifteen minutes
Risk if rushed
duplicate emails to buyers
06

Cancel, turn down the credits, keep proof

Before the date

Cancel from Billing, then Manage Subscription, or by emailing support. You may be offered credits or a discount to stay. If you want out, say no and ask again. Some customers say they had to ask several times.

Screenshot the confirmation screen and keep the email. Your access stays open until the end of the paid period, so finish your exports in that window.

Time
fifteen minutes
Risk if rushed
renewal charged
07

Revoke Helium 10's access in Seller Central

Security

In Seller Central, go to Apps and Services, then Manage Your Apps, and disable Helium 10's authorization. The tool can no longer read your sales, inventory or messages.

Do it after your Profits exports are done, since those reports need the connection to calculate.

Time
five minutes
Risk if rushed
access left open
08

Delete the account last

Last

An active paid plan blocks account deletion. Cancel first, wait for the paid period to end, then request deletion.

Once it's gone, your data is gone. Open every export file one last time to make sure it works.

Time
five minutes
Risk if rushed
data deleted too soon
09

Map each module to its replacement

New setup

Make a two-column table. Cerebro and Magnet go to Data Dive or SellerSprite. Black Box goes to Jungle Scout or SmartScout. Profits and Follow-Up go to Sellerboard. Alerts and history go to Keepa.

If the list fits on two lines, two small tools will cost less than a suite. If it runs to four, a suite like Jungle Scout is simpler to manage.

Time
half an hour
Risk if rushed
a forgotten module

Exit pitfalls

What makes a Helium 10 exit go wrong

The same mistakes show up in reviews and seller forums. None of them are technical. They're calendar and settings slips, and each one costs more than the half hour it would have taken to avoid.

Believing in a 30-day guarantee

Some articles, often written by competitors, mention a 30-day guarantee. Helium 10's terms say seven days, not one more. On day eight, any refund is at support's discretion.

Letting the annual renewal slip

Annual Platinum renews at $1,188 in one charge. Several customers say they got no reminder. Your own reminder, two weeks out, is the only protection you can count on.

Canceling before exporting

Access stays open until the paid period ends, but history can vanish and a deleted account doesn't come back. Export first, cancel second.

Forgetting managed ad profiles

The 2% fee doesn't stop by itself. While a profile stays Managed, it applies to the full spend, even on campaigns you run by hand.

Sending two review requests

Turning on the new tool's emails before shutting off Helium 10's doubles the messages buyers get. Turn off, wait a day, turn on.

Picking a tool without checking your marketplace

ZonGuru only covers the US and UK, SmartScout is strongest in the US, and Helium 10's own inventory tools stop at the US and Canada. Check every marketplace you sell in before you pay.

Helium 10 alternatives: common questions

  • What is the best alternative to Helium 10?

For another full suite, Jungle Scout, which costs less. For keywords only, Data Dive. For profit and review requests, Sellerboard. There's no best tool in the abstract: start from the module you still use. Our ranking of Amazon FBA tools scores them all on the same grid.

  • Is there a cheaper alternative to Helium 10 for reverse ASIN?

Yes. SellerSprite Basic is $39 a month and Data Dive Starter is $39 a month ($32 billed yearly), against $129 for monthly Platinum. Data Dive goes deeper on analysis, SellerSprite adds product research. Both read better with your Cerebro exports in hand.

  • Is there a free alternative to Helium 10?

Not a full suite. Keepa's free extension shows price and rank history on every product page. SellerSprite offers a free extension and a few free tools. Helium 10's own free plan is a limited Chrome extension, with no trial of the paid plans.

  • How much does Helium 10 cost in 2026?

Platinum is $129 a month, or $99 a month billed yearly ($1,188 a year). Diamond is $359 a month, or $279 billed yearly. Enterprise starts at $1,499 a month on an annual contract. Taxes are added at checkout. The $39 Starter plan no longer exists.

  • How do I cancel Helium 10 and get a refund?

Cancel from Billing, then Manage Subscription, or by emailing support, before the renewal date. A full refund is only promised within the first seven days of a subscription; after that, it's at the company's discretion. You keep access until the paid period ends. Enterprise customers have to give 90 days' written notice.

  • What replaces Helium 10 Ads (Adtomic)?

A dedicated PPC tool such as Perpetua, Scale Insights or Teikametrics, or Amazon's own console if your account is small. Before leaving, switch each profile off Managed, or the 2% fee keeps running on its whole spend.

  • Helium 10 or Jungle Scout for a new seller?

Jungle Scout is cheaper to start: $29 a month billed yearly against $99 for Platinum. Helium 10 keeps the edge on keyword depth. Our Amazon tools for brands ranking helps you decide based on your model.

  • Which Helium 10 alternative works best for UK sellers?

SellerSprite covers the UK and costs less. Sellerboard works on every Amazon marketplace. Avoid counting on Helium 10's inventory tools, which stop at the US and Canada. Our Amazon seller tools ranking covers more options.
