Minea alternatives: where to go and how to leave without losing money

Eight destinations, one per reason to leave, and a six-step exit plan.

The short answer: TrendTrack for the closest like-for-like replacement at a lower price, Dropship.io if you start from stores, Winning Hunter to spot ads that are scaling, BigSpy if you want to pay nothing for a while, Sell The Trend to handle everything through fulfillment, AdSpy if you only run Meta, Copyfy if you're building a first store, and Foreplay for creative teams saving ads.

Whatever you pick, cancel Minea at least 24 hours before renewal and use your credits first: they're neither carried over nor refunded. We compared these eight tools and rechecked their 2026 prices.

The real reasons

Why people leave Minea, and why the exit matters

Minea still earns praise for its filters and product research. The negative reviews, though, keep coming back to the same reasons. Six of them, each checked against Minea's own pages or user reviews.

Refunds are close to impossible

Minea's terms fall under Swiss law, which gives online buyers no cooling-off period. Minea only considers, "in rare cases", a request from a new user within 24 hours of their first purchase, with a detailed reason. Forgetting to cancel or simply being unhappy is never refunded.

A bill that climbs in tiers

Starter costs $49 a month but caps AI ad analysis at 10 a month and Magic Search at 50. Unlimited means Business at $199 a month. In between, Premium at $99 only alerts you on 10 stores.

Coverage that leans on Meta

The pricing page lists Meta ads on every plan and still flags Snapchat, Pinterest and TikTok as "coming soon", while the homepage mentions TikTok ads. If TikTok is your main channel, check what your plan actually shows before paying.

Credits lost when you cancel

Cancel mid-period and Minea refunds neither the remaining days nor your unused credits, which "will be lost". Credits you paid for and didn't use are money left on the table.

Keyword search that misses

Recent users describe results unrelated to the term they searched. For a tool that sells saved time, that's the frustration that sends people shopping.

Everyone sees the same products

The highlighted winning products reach thousands of subscribers at once. The more a niche gets surfaced, the faster its ad costs rise. Many leave for a tool that helps them find things earlier.

8 alternatives

Minea alternatives, tool by tool

For each tool: why move there, who it's for, its catch, how to move from Minea, and what it costs. Prices are what each vendor shows in 2026, in its own currency.

01

TrendTrack: the closest match to Minea, for less

Direct replacement

Why switch to TrendTrack. It covers the same ground as Minea (ads, stores, products, brand tracking) and adds one thing Minea doesn't: it captures the emails of the brands you follow, both their automated flows and their one-off campaigns. For a DTC brand, seeing a competitor's welcome sequence is often worth more than one more ad. The pricing grid lists Meta, TikTok and Google ad libraries; check what Starter actually opens during your first month, as its quotas are tight.

Who it's for. Dropshippers and small brands who used Minea mainly to find stores worth watching, and want a cheaper starting price.

Who it's not for. Anyone who digs through dozens of stores a day: the entry plan counts detailed lookups per week.

The catch. Starter gives you 5 lookups a week, 2 tracked brands and one seat. You need Business ($111 a month billed yearly) for unlimited lookups and 3 seats.

How to move. There's no Minea import. List the stores in your Minea brand tracker and add them by hand. With 2 brands on Starter, pick the two competitors that actually matter.

Pricing. Starter $34 a month billed yearly, Pro $62, Business $111. Yearly saves 30%, quarterly 15%. No lock-in.

Dropship.io: start from the stores that are actually selling

For store research

Why switch to Dropship.io. If the stores tab was the part of Minea you lived in, Dropship.io goes deeper there: product, store, ad and creator libraries, plus TikTok Shop tracking. Credits reset every billing cycle, and the yearly discount is steep.

Who it's for. Sellers who start from a store's sales signals rather than from an ad.

Who it's not for. Creative teams hunting for video ideas: the ad library exists, but it isn't the core.

The catch. Basic caps competitor research at 20 searches a day and tracks 10 Facebook advertisers. PayPal isn't accepted.

How to move. Copy the stores you track in Minea into a sheet, then add your top 10 to Dropship.io tracking. The rest can wait.

Pricing. Basic $39 a month or $26 billed yearly, Standard $59 or $34, Premium $99 or $49.

Winning Hunter: filter ads by spend and scaling

Ads that are scaling

Why switch to Winning Hunter. The filter Minea users ask for most: which ads are really being pushed. Winning Hunter filters ads by estimated spend and by scaling (an ad the advertiser keeps duplicating and funding). Meta, TikTok and Pinterest are included from the Standard plan.

Who it's for. Dropshippers who test a lot of products and want to spot what a competitor just started scaling.

Who it's not for. Anyone after the cheapest plan with ads: Basic doesn't include the ad database.

The catch. The prices shown are yearly, with a 40% discount, so month to month costs noticeably more. Each extra user is $20 a month.

How to move. Rebuild your tracked brands. The pricing page gives two different limits for Standard, so check yours in the app (Minea Premium alerted you on 10 stores). TikTok Shop tracking is on every plan.

Pricing. Basic $30 a month, Standard $49, Enterprise $150, billed yearly.

BigSpy: the widest ad coverage, with a free plan

The only real free plan

Why switch to BigSpy. It covers more ad networks than anything else here: up to 11 on the top plan (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Google Ads, X, Pinterest, AppLovin and more). And it keeps a free plan with no end date.

Who it's for. Anyone who wants to keep browsing ads at zero cost while picking a long-term tool, and teams that run ads beyond Meta.

Who it's not for. TikTok-first sellers on a budget: TikTok only unlocks on Growth.

The catch. The free plan gives 10 searches a day, Facebook only, no creative downloads. Older public reviews complain about charges after cancelling, so screenshot your cancellation.

How to move. Start free and check that your niches show up, then pay only if you need a specific network.

Pricing. Free, then Starter $69 a month ($49 yearly), Growth $159 ($119 yearly), Ultimate $499 ($399 yearly).

Sell The Trend: from winning product to shipped order

All-in-one dropshipping

Why switch to Sell The Trend. Minea helps you pick a product. Sell The Trend also helps you sell it: one-click import to your store, automated order fulfillment with the supplier, and an ad creative builder. Facebook ad search is included from Essential.

Who it's for. Dropshippers paying for Minea plus an import tool who want one bill.

Who it's not for. Brands holding their own inventory: half the subscription is dropshipping logistics.

The catch. The TikTok viral ads finder starts on Pro. Essential limits you to 500 imported products and one store.

How to move. Start the 14-day trial (card required, nothing charged during the trial), connect your store, and only drop your current import tool once orders flow.

Pricing. Essential $49.97 a month ($32.97 yearly), Pro $99.97 ($66.64), Pro+ $299.97 ($199.97).

AdSpy: the deepest Facebook and Instagram archive

For media buyers

Why switch to AdSpy. If you mostly used Minea to read Meta ads, AdSpy has far more of them: over 213 million ads, 30 million advertisers, 225 countries and 88 languages. You can search ad text, comments, advertiser or URL, with near-unlimited usage.

Who it's for. Media buyers and agencies who live on Facebook and Instagram.

Who it's not for. Beginners: no product research, no store analytics, and a single high price.

The catch. Facebook and Instagram only. No free trial is advertised.

How to move. Keep Minea for product research until your paid period ends and run AdSpy for one month to see whether the extra depth changes your calls.

Pricing. $149 a month, one plan.

Copyfy: research and store building in one tool

For first stores

Why switch to Copyfy. Minea stops at research. Copyfy chains research and an AI-built Shopify store, so a beginner goes from product idea to live store in one place. Prices on its English page are in US dollars.

Who it's for. Beginners launching a first or second store who want a single subscription.

Who it's not for. Media buyers at established brands: generated stores and coaching don't help them.

The catch. Starter gives you 30 searches a month, analysis of 2 stores and 20 product exports. Credits also pay for AI images and videos, so they go fast if you make visuals.

How to move. Use the 3-day free trial to rerun your three favorite Minea searches side by side. If your products show up, switch; if not, cancel before the 3 days end, because the plan is then charged automatically.

Pricing. Starter $49 a month, Growth $89, Pro $129. Yearly billing takes 40% off: Starter drops to $30 a month.

Foreplay: a shared swipe file for creative teams

For creative teams

Why switch to Foreplay. Plenty of people keep Minea only to save inspiring ads. Foreplay is built for exactly that: a Chrome extension that saves ads from the Meta, TikTok or LinkedIn ad libraries, shared boards, and a brief generator. Saved ads stay even after the advertiser pulls them.

Who it's for. Creative teams and agencies producing video ads.

Who it's not for. Product hunters: Foreplay has no product research.

The catch. Competitor tracking (Spyder) starts on Workflow, $149 a month billed yearly. The 7-day trial needs a card. Foreplay offers a 14-day money-back guarantee on your first charge, but yearly plans aren't refunded.

How to move. Install the extension and resave your 20 reference ads during the trial. Our switching from Foreplay guide covers its own limits.

The 8 alternatives side by side

Our default picks: TrendTrack to replace Minea like for like, BigSpy to wait without paying. For scale, a year of Minea Starter billed quarterly costs $468 ($39 a month). A year of TrendTrack Starter costs about $408 ($34 a month), and a year of Dropship.io Basic $312. Note that the Minea figure uses quarterly billing while the others use yearly prices, which carry bigger discounts. Left column: entry price and its limit. Right column: platforms and trial.

Exit plan

Leaving Minea in six steps

With Minea, the exit matters more than the arrival: a renewal you forgot won't be refunded. This order protects your money first, then your data.

01

Write down your renewal date

Day 1

Open your account and note the exact next charge date. Plans renew every 30 or 365 days depending on billing. Set a reminder three days before: Minea asks you to cancel at least 24 hours ahead.

Time
five minutes
Risk if skipped
a month paid for nothing
02

Spend your credits before leaving

Week 1

Unused credits are lost on cancellation. Run your last big searches now: AI analyses, video transcripts, niche lookups. On Premium that's 50 analyses and 50 transcripts a month.

Gain
credits already paid for
Tip
save analyses as PDF or screenshots
03

Back up what you found

Week 1

Put every store in your brand tracker, every saved product and every reference ad with its link into a spreadsheet. No tool imports a Minea account, so this sheet becomes your starting list.

Format

04

Run the new tool's trial in parallel

Week 2

While Minea is still active, rerun your three usual searches in the new tool. Same stores? Fresher ads? Copyfy gives 3 days (then an automatic charge, so cancel in time), Sell The Trend 14 days, BigSpy a free plan with no end date.

05

Cancel Minea and keep proof

Before renewal

Cancel from your account at least 24 hours before renewal. Screenshot the confirmation and keep the email. If there's a dispute, write to support@minea.com; Minea's terms (article 27) then point to a consumer mediator.

Rebuild your tracking in the new tool

Week 3

Go back to your sheet and add the two or three competitors that really matter first: TrendTrack Starter tracks only 2 brands, Dropship.io Basic 10 advertisers. Add the rest when you upgrade, if you ever need to.

Pitfalls

What makes a Minea exit go wrong

The same bad surprises show up in reviews. None are technical: they're calendar or contract slips, and each costs at least one month of subscription.

Cancelling the day before

Cancelling on renewal day or the day before isn't enough: Minea wants 24 hours' notice. A month of Business is $199 charged for nothing.

Paying a year upfront without a trial

Paid Minea subscriptions aren't refundable, and neither are Foreplay's yearly plans. Start with a month or a quarter at your destination, then switch to yearly once you're sure.

Choosing from a competitor's list

Nearly every "best Minea alternatives" page ranking on Google is written by a competitor that puts itself first. Judge by your own searches during the trial, not by their table. Dropispy, ZIK Analytics and Ecomhunt show up a lot on those lists: we don't rank them here, because we only keep tools whose prices and limits are readable on their official page.

For a wider comparison, see our rankings of the best dropshipping tools, dropshipping tools for beginners and Shopify dropshipping apps.

FAQ · 8 questions

Minea alternatives: common questions

  • Is Minea free?

Partly. Minea's terms mention a free plan available at signup so you can judge the tool before buying. The features that matter (AI analysis, Magic Search, store tracking) need a paid plan from $49 a month. For a lasting free option, BigSpy gives 10 searches a day on Facebook.

  • Can I get a refund from Minea?

Rarely. Minea only considers requests from new users within 24 hours of their first purchase, with a detailed reason. Renewals, upgrades and forgotten cancellations aren't refunded. Email support@minea.com as fast as you can.

  • How do I cancel my Minea subscription?

From your account, at least 24 hours before the renewal date. Screenshot the confirmation. You keep access until the end of the paid period, but leftover credits are lost.

  • Do Minea credits roll over?

Not when you cancel: unspent credits are lost. AI analysis and transcript quotas are counted monthly. Use them before you go.

  • Is Minea or PiPiADS better for TikTok?

If TikTok is your main channel, check your plan before trusting either: Minea's pricing page still lists TikTok as "coming soon", and PiPiADS doesn't publish readable prices, which is why we don't rank it. Winning Hunter covers TikTok from Standard, its first plan with ads; TrendTrack also lists TikTok in its grid.

  • What's the cheapest Minea alternative?

BigSpy's free plan, then Dropship.io Basic at $26 a month billed yearly and Winning Hunter Standard at $49 billed yearly for ads. Watch yearly billing: it's where the low prices are, and it's where refunds get hardest.

  • How do I find winning products without paying?

Use BigSpy free for Facebook ads, then chain the 3-day Copyfy trial and the 14-day Sell The Trend trial for product research, one after the other. Our dropshipping ad creative tools ranking covers the creative side.

  • Should I keep Minea alongside another tool?

Rarely. Both read the same Meta ads, so you'd pay twice for the same data. The one combo that makes sense: one research tool plus an import tool like AutoDS if you dropship.
