AFrame Zapier integrationAutomate AFrame with Zapier.
The AFrame Zapier integration gives you 9 triggers and 2 actions, and no search step. Every trigger is instant: AFrame tells Zapier the moment a contact, a note or a transaction changes, so even a free plan reacts without waiting for a check.

What the AFrame Zapier integration actually does
The AFrame Zapier integration links your AFrame account (a CRM and transaction tracker built for real estate agents and transaction coordinators) to the rest of your tools. A Zap, the automation you build on Zapier, waits for something to happen to a contact, a contact note or a transaction, then acts elsewhere. It can also create contacts and transactions in AFrame from another app.
Three results people usually build first. A live lead sheet: Contact Created adds a row to a shared spreadsheet, so the broker sees who came in without opening AFrame. A closing-desk ping: Transaction Updated posts to a Slack channel, and the coordinator stops refreshing the deal page. A deal opened from intake: an intake form feeds Create Transaction, which only insists on the street line of the property.
Now the honest part. AFrame offers no search step on Zapier, so a Zap can't look up a contact that already exists before it writes. The two actions only create: nothing updates or deletes a record from a Zap. And a Zap never goes back in time: deals already in AFrame when you switch it on stay where they are.
This site has no AFrame page for n8n or Make. If you're still choosing the tool, the n8n vs Zapier and Make vs Zapier pages are the place to weigh the two options against each other before building anything.
Zapier words, in one minute
Eight words come back on every line of this page. Here they are in plain English.
- Zap
- The automation you build on Zapier: one starting event, then one or more steps that run each time that event happens.
- Trigger
- The event in AFrame that starts the Zap, such as a new contact. Once the Zap is on, Zapier just waits for it.
- Action
- What the Zap does after it starts: the step that writes, sends or moves something for you, in AFrame or elsewhere.
- Task
- The unit Zapier bills: one action your Zap completes successfully. The number on your plan counts those, nothing else.
- Instant trigger
- A trigger the app reports itself: AFrame calls Zapier the moment the event happens, so nothing waits for a scheduled check.
- Polling trigger
- A trigger Zapier checks on a timer, asking for new items at a fixed interval. None of the AFrame triggers works this way.
- Filter
- A step that lets the Zap carry on only when what arrived meets your condition, and quietly stops it otherwise.
- Connection
- Your AFrame account linked to Zapier once, then reused by every step of every Zap that touches AFrame.
What it really costs
AFrame is not a premium app, so it works from the free plan. The bill depends on actions, not on how busy your CRM is.
- Free plan100 tasks a month, unlimited Zaps
- Steps on the free plan2: one trigger, one action
- Premium appNo
- AFrame triggers9, all instant: the interval grid does not apply
The trigger never costs a task, and neither does Zapier listening for it. Each action that goes through counts once, so a Zap with three actions eats three times what a one-action Zap does. An action that fails is not counted. The catch on the free plan: a Zap stops at two steps, one trigger and one action. A second action or a filter makes it a multi-step Zap, which then needs a paid plan of its own.
Connect AFrame to Zapier in three steps
- 01
Open your apps
In Zapier, go to the Apps page of your account and click + Add connection. Type AFrame in the dialog and pick it from the list. You need an AFrame account of your own before you start.
- 02
Sign in to AFrame
Click Add connection. A new tab opens on AFrame: sign in there with the account whose contacts and transactions the Zap should see. Records you don't own need read or write access granted on the AFrame side.
- 03
Grant access
Allow Zapier into the account. The connection now shows on the Apps page, and every Zap that uses AFrame reuses it, so you sign in once instead of once per Zap.
Your first Zap: new contacts into a sheet, then a Slack heads-up
GoalEach contact added in AFrame lands as a row in a shared spreadsheet, and the team gets a short Slack message about it.
- 01
Pick the trigger
Create a Zap, choose AFrame as the starting app and Contact Created as the event. Select the connection you added earlier.
- 02
Test it on real data
Run the trigger test. Zapier brings back the three most recent contacts of your account, so pick one that looks like a typical lead and use it for the mapping.
- 03
Add the spreadsheet row
Add Google Sheets as the action, then map the contact details that came back from the test into the columns of your sheet. Test the step and check the row it wrote.
- 04
Add the Slack message
Add a second action for Slack. That makes this a multi-step Zap, so it needs a paid plan. On the free plan, stop after the sheet and keep the Zap at two steps.
- 05
Publish
Click Publish to switch the Zap on. From then on, each new contact runs it straight away. If mapping feels new, a Zapier training is one way to get comfortable with it.
The 9 AFrame triggers
9 events start a Zap when something happens in AFrame, and 9 of them are instant: the app calls Zapier straight away, whatever your plan.
Contact Created
Instant triggerIn Zapier“Triggers when a Contact is created.”
Starts your Zap as soon as someone adds a person to AFrame. It is the natural entry point for anything that should follow a new lead.
Contact Deleted
Instant triggerIn Zapier“Triggers when a Contact is deleted.”
Reacts when a person disappears from your AFrame records. Useful as a cleanup signal for the copies of that contact living in other tools.
Contact Note Created
Instant triggerIn Zapier“Triggers when a Contact Note is created.”
Fires each time a note is written on a contact. Notes are where call summaries and showing feedback usually end up, so this is the trigger that carries the human side of a file.
Contact Note Deleted
Instant triggerIn Zapier“Triggers when a Contact Note is deleted.”
Picks up the moment a note is removed from a contact. Few people think of it, yet it is the only way to know from outside AFrame that a remark is gone.
Contact Note Updated
Instant triggerIn Zapier“Triggers when a Contact Note is updated.”
Runs whenever someone edits an existing note on a contact. Handy when notes get corrected or completed after the first draft and the copies elsewhere must follow.
Contact Updated
Instant triggerIn Zapier“Triggers when a Contact is updated.”
Wakes up when a contact record changes in AFrame. It keeps another list in step with the CRM without anyone copying details across by hand.
Transaction Created
Instant triggerIn Zapier“Triggers when a Transaction is created.”
Launches the Zap the moment a new deal is opened in AFrame. For a transaction coordinator, this is where the paperwork clock starts, so it deserves the most attention.
Transaction Deleted
Instant triggerIn Zapier“Triggers when a Transaction is deleted.”
Signals that a deal has been removed from AFrame altogether. Use it to keep calendars, boards and reports from carrying a transaction that no longer exists.
Transaction Updated
Instant triggerIn Zapier“Triggers when a Transaction is updated.”
Responds each time a deal record is modified in AFrame. It is the trigger behind most status alerts, because a file moving forward shows up here first.
The 2 AFrame actions
AFrame gives you 2 actions. For each one: what it does for you, when to reach for it, and what to watch out for.
Operations index
Create Contact
ActionIn Zapier“Creates a new contact in your AFrame account.”
Adds a fresh person to your AFrame account from whatever app started the Zap, such as a web form or an ad lead.
Create Transaction
ActionIn Zapier“Creates a new transaction in your AFrame account.”
Opens a new deal in AFrame from data that arrives elsewhere. The one field it insists on is Property Address (Line 1).
When an AFrame Zap breaks
Zapier attaches no help article to AFrame, so the traps below are the general ones, applied to this CRM.
Most surprises come from timing and from loops, not from the connection itself. If a Zap still misbehaves after these checks, the Zapier troubleshooting page is the next stop.
Old deals are never picked up
A Zap only reacts to what happens after you publish it. Transactions already open in AFrame stay out of reach, and moving that backlog is a separate job.A create action feeding its own trigger
Create Contact behind Contact Created, or Create Transaction behind Transaction Created, in the same account: each record written starts the Zap again and burns tasks fast.Bulk imports held back
Importing a whole contact list fires a huge batch at once. Zapier's flood protection can hold such a burst instead of running every record. The Slack step never runs on free
A second action or a filter turns the Zap into a multi-step Zap. On the free plan, Zapier keeps you at one trigger and one action.
