What the Loanzify Zapier integration really does
Loanzify is where a lending team takes in applicants and follows each loan file, with screens it can adjust to the way it works. On Zapier it works both ways: two events in Loanzify can start a Zap, and two actions let other apps add leads and loans to it. Nobody has to copy names and emails between tools.
Leads that reach your CRM. New Lead picks up each form submitted from LHP3 and hands it to your CRM, so follow-up starts where your team already works, with nobody exporting a list from Loanzify by hand.
Loans the right people hear about. New Loan Created passes each new loan to your chat, your inbox or a sheet, with no one refreshing the Loanzify pipeline to spot it.
Leads from elsewhere, kept in one place. Create Lead and Create Loanzify Loan bring contacts gathered in other tools into Loanzify, so the pipeline stays the single list everyone on the team works from.
What Zapier doesn't do here: it can't update or delete a lead or a loan, and it can't look one up, since there is no search. Both triggers work by polling, so new items arrive on Zapier's polling schedule rather than when they're made. If that matters, weigh the options in our n8n vs Zapier comparison, or read our Zapier review first.
Zapier words in one minute
Eight terms you'll meet in the editor, in plain English.
- Zap
- The automation you build: one trigger, then one or more actions that run every time the trigger event happens.
- Trigger
- The event in an app that starts the Zap. Loanzify offers two: a new lead and a newly created loan.
- Action
- What the Zap does once started: the step that writes something for you, such as adding a lead to Loanzify.
- Task
- The unit Zapier bills: one action your Zap completes successfully. Your plan's monthly count is a count of those.
- Polling trigger
- A trigger Zapier checks on a timer, keeping only what it hasn't seen yet. Both Loanzify triggers work this way.
- Instant trigger
- A trigger the app reports itself, calling Zapier the moment the event happens. Loanzify doesn't offer one.
- Filter
- A step that lets the Zap carry on only when the incoming data meets your condition, and stops it otherwise.
- Multi-step Zap
- Any Zap beyond one trigger and one action. A filter or a second action turns it into one, and it needs a paid plan.
What it really costs
Loanzify isn't a premium app, so it runs on the free plan. Zapier bills tasks, and a trigger is never one.
- Premium appNo
- Free plan100 tasks a month
- Free plan Zap size2 steps
- Cost of a trigger0 tasks
New Lead and New Loan Created cost nothing, however often Zapier checks. Each action that succeeds counts as one task, whether it's Create Lead or a step in another app; one that fails isn't counted. The free plan gives you 100 tasks a month and Zaps of two steps. A filter or a second action makes the Zap multi-step, so it needs a paid plan. Both triggers poll, so the grid below sets how quickly new items show up.
Connect Loanzify to Zapier
- 01
Open the Apps page
In your Zapier account, open the Apps page and click + Add connection. Have your Loanzify login ready, plus access to any leads and loans you don't own but want the Zap to touch.
- 02
Pick Loanzify
Type Loanzify in the search box of the dialog, select it and click Add connection. A new tab opens on the Loanzify side, which is where you actually sign in.
- 03
Sign in and grant access
Sign in to Loanzify in that tab and allow Zapier to use the account. The connection then shows up in your list, reused by every Loanzify step in every Zap.
Your first Zap: Loanzify leads into your CRM
GoalEach new Loanzify lead that meets your condition becomes a contact in your CRM, ready for follow-up.
- 01
Build: start with Loanzify
Start a new Zap, pick Loanzify as the app and New Lead as the event, then choose the Loanzify connection you added a moment ago.
- 02
Test the trigger
Run the test. Zapier brings back the three most recent leads of the account, so pick a real one to map the next steps from.
- 03
Add the filter
Add a Filter step from the plus icon and set its three boxes: the field to look at, the rule, the value. A text rule only works on text. This makes the Zap multi-step, so a paid plan is needed.
- 04
Add the CRM step
Choose your CRM and its create-contact action, then map the lead's name and email into the matching CRM fields. Test this step once and read what came back.
- 05
Publish
Click Publish to switch the Zap on. Zapier then checks Loanzify at your plan's interval and creates a contact for each new lead that passes.
Loanzify triggers
2 events start a Zap when something happens in Loanzify. Zapier checks for them at the interval your plan allows.
New Lead
Polling triggerIn Zapier“Triggers when a form is submitted from LHP3”
Starts your Zap when a form is submitted from LHP3 in Loanzify, and hands that lead to the steps that follow. It is the entry point for anyone who just raised their hand and should be contacted.
New Loan Created
Polling triggerIn Zapier“Triggers when a new loan is created.”
Fires each time a new loan appears in Loanzify and passes it on, so every loan opened in the pipeline can be announced, logged or copied elsewhere.
Loanzify actions
Loanzify gives you 2 actions. For each one: what it does for you, when to reach for it, and what to watch out for.
Operations index
Create Lead
ActionIn Zapier“Create a new lead in your account”
Adds a new lead to your Loanzify account from details another app collected, so contacts from outside join the same list as the rest.
Create Loanzify Loan
ActionIn Zapier“Creates a new loan in your Loanzify pipeline”
Opens a new loan in your Loanzify pipeline from data an earlier step carried, so the file exists as soon as the request does.
When it breaks
Zapier attaches no help article to Loanzify, so the cases below come from how Zapier itself behaves.
Four situations explain most surprises. None of them shows while you build; they appear once the Zap runs on its own. For a step-by-step method, see our Zapier troubleshooting guide.
Earlier leads and loans stay behind
A Zap only reacts to what happens after you switch it on. Leads and loans already in Loanzify are ignored; moving that history is a separate job.A loan Zap that feeds itself
A Zap started by New Loan Created that runs Create Loanzify Loan writes where its own trigger looks, so it fires again and again and eats your task count.Big batches held back
When a trigger suddenly returns a huge batch, after a bulk import or a migration, Zapier's flood protection can hold those items back.No double runs on polling
Zapier keeps track of the leads and loans it has already seen on both triggers, so the same item doesn't start the Zap twice.
