LogiONE Document Zapier integrationAutomate LogiONE Document with Zapier.
The LogiONE Document Zapier integration gives you 3 triggers, 4 actions and 0 searches. All three triggers are checked on a timer, and LogiONE Document is not a premium app, so it runs on the free plan. Here is what each piece does, what it bills and where it breaks.

What the LogiONE Document Zapier integration does with your files
The LogiONE Document Zapier integration links your document storage to your other tools through Zaps: small automations that start on one event, then run one or more steps on their own. LogiONE Document keeps and shares files in the cloud; Zapier moves them in and tells people when something lands.
Three results come up most. Nobody misses a new file: New Document picks it up and your team chat gets a message. Files that file themselves: an attachment received in another app goes into the right folder with Upload a Document. A contact book fed from outside: Create an Address adds an address entry from data collected elsewhere.
What Zapier does not do here: there is no search, so a Zap cannot look up a document, a folder or an address that already exists. There is no update, no move and no delete either. And all three triggers are polling ones: on the free plan, Zapier checks for new items every 15 minutes, never at once. If speed matters, plan around that delay.
One more limit worth knowing: a Zap that writes into the place its own trigger watches restarts itself, so keep New Folder and Create a Folder in separate Zaps.

Zapier vocabulary, explained plainly
Six words carry this page. Here they are, in plain English.
- Zap
- An automation you build on Zapier: one starting event, then one or more steps that run every time that event happens.
- Trigger
- The event in an app that starts the Zap. Once the Zap is on, Zapier waits for that event and nothing else.
- Action
- What the Zap does after it starts: the step that writes, sends or moves something in an app for you.
- Task
- The unit Zapier bills. One action that completes successfully counts as one task on your plan.
- Polling vs instant
- A polling trigger is checked by Zapier on a timer. An instant trigger is reported by the app the moment the event happens.
- Filter
- A step that lets the Zap continue only when the incoming data meets your condition, and stops it otherwise.
What LogiONE Document costs you in Zapier tasks
The trigger is free, and so is every check Zapier runs to look for new files. You pay one task for each action that succeeds. An action that fails is not counted.
- Premium appNo, works on the free plan
- Free plan100 tasks a month, two-step Zaps
- Trigger0 task
- Each successful action1 task
The free plan gives 100 tasks a month and Zaps of two steps: one trigger, one action. Add a filter or a second action and the Zap becomes multi-step, which needs a paid plan. A few apps bill more than one task per action; nothing in the catalog says LogiONE Document does, so count one task per action until a test shows otherwise. The grid below sets how often the three LogiONE Document triggers are checked.
Connect LogiONE Document to Zapier in three steps
- 01
Open your connections
In Zapier, open the Apps page of your account and click + Add connection. A connection is your LogiONE Document account linked once, then reused by every step that talks to it.
- 02
Pick LogiONE Document
Search for LogiONE Document in the dialog, select it and click Add connection. A new tab opens: sign in with the LogiONE Document account your Zaps should act as.
- 03
Grant access
Allow Zapier to use that account. Check its rights first: it needs read or write access on every folder you do not own and want a Zap to watch or fill.
Your first Zap: tell your team about every new LogiONE document
GoalEach time a document is added in LogiONE Document, keep only the ones that meet your condition and post a message in your team chat.
- 01
Build: set the trigger
Create a Zap, pick LogiONE Document and the New Document event, then your connection. Answer the required Triggers when new version question.
- 02
Test the trigger
Run the test. Zapier brings back the three most recent documents of the account, so you set the next steps on a real file rather than on blanks.
- 03
Add a filter
Add a Filter step and fill its three boxes: the field to look at, the rule, the value. A text rule only works on text, a number rule only on numbers.
- 04
Add the message
Add your team chat as the action and build the message from the document's values. With the filter, this Zap is multi-step and needs a paid plan.
- 05
Test, then publish
Test each step and read the message that arrives. Then click Publish: the Zap switches on and reports documents added from now on.
LogiONE Document triggers in Zapier
3 events start a Zap when something happens in LogiONE Document. Zapier checks for them at the interval your plan allows.
New Addresss
Polling triggerIn Zapier“Triggers when a new address is created.”
Starts the Zap whenever an address entry is created in LogiONE Document. The menu spells it with three s, exactly as written here, which helps when you search the event list.
New Document
Polling triggerIn Zapier“Triggers when a new document is created.”
Picks up each document created in LogiONE Document and hands its details to the next steps.
New Folder
Polling triggerIn Zapier“Triggers when a new folder is created.”
Fires when a folder appears in LogiONE Document, so a project space created there can set things moving elsewhere.
LogiONE Document actions in Zapier
LogiONE Document gives you 4 actions. For each one: what it does for you, when to reach for it, and what to watch out for.

Opens a new folder under a Parent Folder you select, with the name you set.
Create a Note
ActionIn Zapier“Creates a new note”

When a LogiONE Document Zap breaks
Zapier attaches no help article to LogiONE Document, so the traps below are Zapier's general ones, read through this app.
On a polling trigger Zapier remembers what it has already seen, so the same document does not start the Zap twice. Four other cases are worth planning for. If a Zap still misbehaves, see our Zapier troubleshooting page.
Existing files are not picked up
A Zap only reacts to what is created after you publish it. Documents and folders already stored stay out; moving that backlog is a separate job.A folder loop
New Folder followed by Create a Folder writes where the trigger watches: each new folder starts the Zap again and burns through your tasks.A bulk upload held back
After a migration or a mass upload, a sudden pile of new documents can trip Zapier's flood protection, which holds the batch back instead of running it.Versions counted as new files
With Triggers when new version set to yes, every new version of a file starts New Document, so one busy file can use many tasks.
