my-scale Zapier integrationAutomate my-scale with Zapier.
The my-scale Zapier integration gives you 2 triggers, 0 actions and 0 searches. Every new lead or applicant in your my-scale funnels can start a Zap that carries it into your other tools, from the free plan, as long as each Zap stays at two steps.

What the my-scale Zapier integration does for you
In my-scale, leads and applicants move through funnels shaped the way you want, inside a CRM. Linked to Zapier, it becomes the starting point of automations: two events, a new lead and a new applicant, can each start a chain of steps in the other tools you work with.
A lead list that also lives elsewhere. With New Lead at the start, each lead created in my-scale can become a row in a spreadsheet you share. No more exports to keep a second copy up to date.
A follow-up email that goes out on its own. Add a filter and an email step after New Lead, and only the leads that meet your condition get a message (a filter makes the Zap multi-step, so a paid plan).
Applicants announced to the team. New Applicant hands each new applicant to the next step, for example a message in your team's chat tool, so nobody has to keep the CRM open to notice.
What Zapier does not do here: the integration has no action and no search. A Zap can never create a lead in my-scale, move it through a funnel or look one up; the app is only ever the first step. Both triggers are polling, so Zapier goes and checks rather than being told. Before you commit, see our Zapier review or the n8n vs Zapier comparison.
Zapier vocabulary in one minute
Seven words come back all along this page. Here they are in plain English, once.
- Zap
- The automation you build on Zapier: one trigger, then one or more actions that run every time the trigger event happens.
- Trigger
- The event that starts the Zap, such as a new lead in my-scale. Once the Zap is on, Zapier waits for it.
- Action
- What the Zap does once it has started: the step that writes, sends or moves something in another app for you.
- Task
- The unit Zapier bills: one action your Zap completes successfully. The count on your plan is a count of those.
- Polling vs instant
- Zapier checks a polling trigger on a timer; an instant trigger is reported by the app itself. Both my-scale triggers are polling.
- Filter
- A step that lets the Zap go on only when what arrived meets the condition you set, and stops it otherwise.
- Multi-step Zap
- Any Zap beyond one trigger and one action. A second action or a filter makes one, and it then needs a paid plan.
What a my-scale Zap really costs
my-scale is not a premium app on Zapier, so it works on the free plan. The cost is in the steps that follow it.
- Premium appNo, available on the free plan
- Free plan100 tasks a month, unlimited Zaps of two steps
- What countsEach successful action, never the trigger
- Triggers2 polling, 0 instant
The trigger never costs a task, however often Zapier checks for new leads. Since my-scale has no action, every task comes from the other apps in the Zap: each action that succeeds counts once, and one that fails is not counted. The free plan stops at two steps. A filter or a second action makes the Zap multi-step, which needs a paid plan. The interval grid below sets how often both my-scale triggers are checked.
Connect my-scale to Zapier in three steps
- 01
Open the Apps page
In your Zapier account, go to Apps and click + Add connection. You need a my-scale account, plus read or write access on anything you do not own yourself and want the Zap to touch.
- 02
Pick my-scale
Type my-scale in the search box of the dialog, select it, then click Add connection. A new tab opens on the my-scale side, where the rest of the connection happens.
- 03
Sign in and grant access
Sign in to my-scale in that tab and let Zapier reach the account. After that, the connection is saved once, then reused by every Zap that starts from my-scale.
Your first Zap: email some new leads automatically
GoalEach new my-scale lead that passes your filter receives an email from your email tool.
- 01
Create the Zap and set the trigger
Start a new Zap, pick my-scale and New Lead, then choose your my-scale connection. Zapier will check for new leads at the interval of your plan.
- 02
Test the trigger
Run the test. Zapier brings back the three most recent leads of the account, so pick a real one to map the next steps on real values.
- 03
Add a filter
From the plus icon, add Filter and set its three boxes: the field to look at, the rule and the value. A filter makes the Zap multi-step, so it needs a paid plan.
- 04
Add the email
Add your email tool with its send action, map the recipient from the lead and write the message around its fields. Check at the test what each field holds.
- 05
Test, then publish
Run each step once, then open your inbox and read the email you receive. When it looks right, click Publish to switch the Zap on.
my-scale triggers on Zapier
2 events start a Zap when something happens in my-scale. Zapier checks for them at the interval your plan allows.
New Applicant
Polling triggerIn Zapier“Triggers when a new applicant is created in your my-scale account.”
Each applicant created in your my-scale account can start a Zap. The steps that follow can log the applicant in a sheet, alert your team or add the person to a list in another tool, so nobody has to watch the CRM to see who just came in.
New Lead
Polling triggerIn Zapier“Triggers when a new lead is created in your my-scale account.”
A lead created in my-scale opens the Zap here. It is the hook for everything you do with a fresh contact outside the CRM: a row in a shared sheet, a first email, a contact in your mailing tool.
When a my-scale Zap breaks
Zapier ties no help article to my-scale, and no limit specific to the app is documented. What can go wrong comes from how Zaps work in general.
Keep these four cases in mind before you publish. If a Zap stops or behaves oddly, see our Zapier troubleshooting guide.
No backlog
A Zap only reacts to what happens after it is switched on. Leads and applicants that existed before stay out; moving them is a separate job.A Zap that sets itself off
As a general rule, a Zap that writes into the very place its own trigger watches can start itself again and again, and burn through the task count fast.A big batch held back
After a bulk import or a migration, a trigger that suddenly returns a huge batch can be held back by Zapier's flood protection. The same item, once
On a polling trigger, Zapier keeps track of what it has already seen, so the same lead or applicant does not start the Zap twice.
