What's the best sales funnel software in 2026?

A funnel doesn't sell for you. It takes the payment, then offers the next step, while you sleep.

Your sales page lives on WordPress, payments on Stripe, emails in a third tool, and none of them talk. Someone buys, and nobody offers them the next thing. Sales funnel software pulls that together: an opt-in page, a sales page, a checkout, an upsell after purchase, and the emails that follow up with people who didn't buy.

The short answer. Systeme.io is the best sales funnel software for most creators and coaches: free up to 2,000 contacts, order bumps on that plan, no transaction fees, then $17 a month. GoHighLevel is built for agencies, from $97. ClickFunnels is still the most flexible builder, from $97. Kajabi suits established creators, from $179. Funnelish is the ecommerce pick, from $49. Kartra rounds out the list, with a 5% fee on its cheapest plan.

What most "best of" lists blur: a pipeline CRM like Pipedrive or HubSpot isn't a funnel builder. It tracks deals; it doesn't take a payment. Every tool ranked here does.

How we rank

How we compared and ranked

This page is for people selling knowledge or a product online: course creators, coaches, consultants, authors, small ecommerce brands. Many start from scratch, or from a WordPress, Stripe and email stack held together with tape. It's not a guide for a sales team tracking proposals; that's a CRM job.

We read every vendor's pricing page plan by plan to find where checkout, order bumps, one-click upsells, contact caps and transaction fees actually sit. Then we went through thousands of user reviews, starting with the negative ones. The pattern: people pick a tool for its templates and leave it over fees or support.

One hard filter first. To be ranked, a tool must build a multi-step funnel and take payment itself. Perspective, Leadpages and Unbounce don't, since none of them takes payments natively. Podia sells without a multi-step funnel. They're covered below, unranked.

A tool's overall score is the same on every page of our site, built on five criteria (ease of use, value, features, support, integrations). The rank follows what matters to this reader: funnel, checkout and upsells 30%, real cost and fees 25%, ease of setup 20%, email and automation 15%, support 10%.

Best overall

Systeme.io

4.0/5

Systeme.io is the only tool on this list that lets you build a working sales funnel, checkout included, without paying a cent. The Free plan gives you 2,000 contacts, 3 funnels, 1 course, 1 automation rule and 1 custom domain. Email sends are unlimited on every plan, free included.

Where a funnel actually makes money is the checkout. Systeme.io handles it natively, wired to Stripe or PayPal. Order bumps (the checkbox that adds a small extra right before payment) work on paid funnels from the free tier up, according to the vendor's own documentation. One-click upsells (the offer shown right after purchase, charged without re-entering a card) and downsells are built in too.

The detail most roundups skip: Systeme.io takes zero percent of your sales on every plan. You only pay your payment processor. On $10,000 a month in sales, that's $500 a month you keep compared with a platform charging 5%.

User feedback is strong, across thousands of reviews. The complaints are consistent: page design feels basic next to ClickFunnels, tutorials can be thin, and the free migration often runs past its promised timeline. Checkout testing isn't part of that migration, so run a $1 test purchase yourself before sending traffic.

Tip: switch to annual billing once your offer converts. You get two months free, and the free migration service is only offered on Unlimited monthly or any annual plan.

Standout features
  • Free plan with checkout and order bumps
  • 0% transaction fees on every plan
  • Unlimited email sends
+Pros
  • ✓Most generous free plan on the market
  • ✓Simple pricing: $17, $47, $97
  • ✓Courses, email and funnels in one tool
−Cons
  • ✗Less design freedom than ClickFunnels
  • ✗One automation rule on Free
  • ✗No live chat or phone support
Verdict

The default pick for selling a course or coaching program in 2026. Start on Free, move to Startup once you pass 3 funnels or 2,000 contacts.

Best for agencies

GoHighLevel

4.3/5

GoHighLevel has the highest score on this page, yet it ranks second. That's on purpose: it's an agency platform. Funnels, websites, CRM, calendars, SMS, review requests, Stripe, PayPal and Square payments, all built for running many clients at once, each in its own sub-account.

Starter costs $97 a month or $970 a year with 3 sub-accounts. Unlimited at $297 opens unlimited sub-accounts and lets you rebill usage to clients. Contacts and users are unlimited on every plan, which matters a lot past 10,000 contacts, the point where ClickFunnels and Kajabi push you up a tier.

What the pricing page doesn't put a number on: SMS, calls, email and AI run on a usage wallet that auto-recharges. The harshest reviews describe a broken workflow draining that wallet in a loop, and charges after cancellation. Support tickets can take 48 hours.

For a solo coach, it's a lot of software for one funnel. Expect several weeks to get comfortable, and documentation that assumes you'll build everything yourself.

Tip: cap the wallet auto-recharge in billing settings on day one. And put the trial end date in your calendar, because it rolls into a paid plan without a reminder.

Standout features
  • Unlimited contacts and users
  • Sub-accounts per client
  • CRM, SMS and funnels together
+Pros
  • ✓Flat price even at 50,000 contacts
  • ✓White-label resale option
  • ✓Deep automation builder
−Cons
  • ✗Usage billed on top
  • ✗Steep learning curve
  • ✗Wallet auto-recharge can surprise you
Verdict

The strongest tool if you sell funnels to clients. If you're selling your own course solo, Systeme.io does the job for a fifth of the price.

The original funnel builder

ClickFunnels

3.5/5

ClickFunnels made "funnel" a household word for marketers. ClickFunnels 2.0 gives you unlimited funnels from the Launch plan, with 10,000 contacts, 50,000 emails a month, 5 domains, 2 team members and 3 courses. Smart Checkout and Conversion Boosters sit on the pricing page, and one-click upsells and downsells have been the core of the ClickFunnels playbook from day one.

Launch costs $97 a month, or $81 billed yearly. Scale at $197 raises the cap to 75,000 contacts and 5 members. Visitors are unlimited, and ClickFunnels takes no cut of your sales.

So why third? Price per result. Launch costs nearly six times Systeme.io Startup for a comparable funnel, and there's no free plan. The 2.0 migration also left scars in older reviews: a rough transition, and scheduled emails and texts that didn't send.

The limit: leaving is painful. Pages and forms don't export cleanly, so moving means rebuilding. Your contacts do export as CSV.

Tip: use the 14-day trial to rebuild your main funnel, not to browse templates. Within a week you'll know whether the editor is worth the premium.

Standout features
  • Unlimited funnels from Launch
  • No cut of your sales
  • Unlimited visitors
+Pros
  • ✓Most flexible page editor here
  • ✓Huge funnel template library
  • ✓Upsells and downsells at the core
−Cons
  • ✗No free plan
  • ✗Pricey for a first funnel
  • ✗Pages hard to take with you
Verdict

A strong builder for ad-driven funnels with budget behind them. For a first launch, the entry price is hard to justify.

4
Best for established creators

Kajabi

3.7/5

Kajabi is a creator platform first: courses, community, coaching, newsletter and funnels. Funnels are unlimited on every plan, checkout is native, and course pages look as good as anything on the market.

It's also the most expensive way in. Basic costs $179 a month, $143 billed yearly, for 5 products and 2,500 contacts. Growth at $249 raises that to 50 products and 25,000 contacts. That contact cap, not the features, decides your plan.

The fee you don't see coming: if you don't use Kajabi Payments, Kajabi adds 2% on Basic, 1% on Growth and 0.5% on Pro, on top of your processor's fees. PayPal is the exception. Kajabi Payments for US entities runs 2.9% + $0.30 on Basic.

Reviews are more mixed than for the other tools: charges after a trial ended, useful features sold as add-ons, and an AI support layer that's hard to get past.

The limit for funnel work: the pricing page doesn't feature order bumps or one-click upsells. Kajabi is a course platform that sells well, not a funnel builder that hosts courses.

Standout features
  • Unlimited funnels on every plan
  • Polished course and community pages
  • Kajabi Payments built in
+Pros
  • ✓Professional look with no designer
  • ✓Whole catalog in one place
  • ✓Lower fees on higher plans
−Cons
  • ✗$179/mo to start
  • ✗Only 2,500 contacts on Basic
  • ✗Transaction fee outside Kajabi Payments
Verdict

For creators with steady revenue and an audience to move. For a first launch, the entry price is too heavy.

Best for ecommerce

Funnelish

3.7/5

Funnelish doesn't sell courses. It builds funnels for physical products: a product page, a checkout, order bumps, then one-click upsells. "Checkouts with upsells & order bumps" is listed on every plan.

Basic costs $49 a month ($41 billed yearly) for 20,000 visitors, 20 funnels and 1 domain. Pro at $99 covers 100,000 visitors and 50 funnels. There's no added percentage. Note that visitors, not contacts, drive the tier, so a winning ad campaign can bump your plan within a week.

The typical setup: a Shopify store sends ad traffic to a Funnelish page instead of the product page, sells a two-pack at a discount, then offers an accessory after purchase. Orders sync back to Shopify for fulfillment.

The limit: upsells only run on Funnelish's own checkout, not Shopify's native checkout. There's no course area and no full email platform, so you'll keep Klaviyo or similar alongside.

Standout features
  • Bumps and upsells on every plan
  • Connects to Shopify
  • No added transaction fee
+Pros
  • ✓Most ecommerce-focused tool here
  • ✓Reasonable entry price
  • ✓Built for paid traffic
−Cons
  • ✗Visitor caps per plan
  • ✗Upsells off Shopify's native checkout
  • ✗No courses or full email
Verdict

The right call for a physical product sold through ads. For courses or coaching, look at Systeme.io instead.

All-in-one, with caveats

Kartra

3.1/5

On paper Kartra does everything: pages, funnels, checkout, email, video hosting, calendar, membership sites and a helpdesk. Feature for feature, it's one of the richest tools here, which is why it makes the list.

The catch is the entry plan. Essentials costs $59 a month but takes 5% of every sale and caps you at 500 contacts and 1 product. On $3,000 a month in sales, that fee adds $150. The first plan with no transaction fee is Starter at $119 a month, with 2,500 contacts and unlimited products. Growth is $229 and Professional $549.

Our full review scores Kartra 3.1 out of 5, and user feedback explains why: support replies that take days, a slow editor, dated documentation, price increases, and forms you can't take with you.

The limit: Systeme.io covers the essentials with no fee at $17. Kartra still makes sense if you want everything, video and calendar included, from a single vendor.

Standout features
  • Pages, video, calendar and membership
  • Starter at $119 with no fee
  • 14-day trial
+Pros
  • ✓Very complete on paper
  • ✓Built-in video hosting
  • ✓One vendor for everything
−Cons
  • ✗5% fee on Essentials
  • ✗Slow support in reviews
  • ✗Complex to learn
Verdict

Skip Essentials and its 5% fee. If Kartra appeals, start on Starter, and compare with Systeme.io first.

Real cost

What a sales funnel really costs at 1,000 and 10,000 contacts

The sticker price tells you little. Your bill is driven by contact caps, transaction fees and payment processing. Here's the monthly cost of the plan you'd actually need, at official monthly prices.

At 1,000 contacts, your first launch

Systeme.io: $0. Funnelish: $49 while you stay under 20,000 visitors. Kartra: $59 plus 5% of sales. ClickFunnels and GoHighLevel: $97. Kajabi: $179.

At 10,000 contacts, the offer that works

Systeme.io: $47 (Webinar). ClickFunnels: $97, since Launch covers 10,000 contacts. GoHighLevel: $97 with unlimited contacts, plus usage. Kartra: $229 (Growth). Kajabi: $249 (Growth).

Transaction fees, the cost people forget

On $5,000 a month in sales: $0 on Systeme.io, ClickFunnels, GoHighLevel and Funnelish; $250 on Kartra Essentials; $100 on Kajabi Basic outside Kajabi Payments. Stripe or PayPal fees apply on top everywhere.

  • Does your target plan include order bumps and one-click upsells?
  • How many contacts or visitors before the next tier?
  • Is there a transaction fee on top of Stripe or PayPal?
  • Is the price monthly or billed yearly?
  • Does usage (SMS, email, AI) cost extra?
  • Can you export contacts and pages if you leave?

Other tools that come up for funnels

These show up in most roundups. We don't rank them: either they can't take payment, or they sell without a real funnel. Here's when they're still worth a look.

01

Podia: simple selling, no full funnel

Creators

Podia sells courses, downloads and memberships with a clean checkout. Upsells only arrive on Shaker at $99 a month ($84 yearly), with no transaction fee. The entry plan, Mover at $49, takes 5% of sales and has no upsells. There's no multi-step funnel and no order bump: it's a creator storefront.

Lead generation

Perspective, a German vendor, builds mobile-first funnels that work well for recruiting and booking requests. Base costs €59 a month, €47 billed yearly, for 2 live funnels and 100 leads. It doesn't take payments or run upsells: it captures leads, it doesn't sell.

Leadpages: the opt-in page, not the funnel

WordPress plus a funnel plugin

Pipedrive, HubSpot: CRMs, not funnels

Method

Many pages ranking for this search list Pipedrive, HubSpot or Salesforce. They're CRMs: they move a prospect from one sales stage to the next (call, proposal, signature). They don't build a sales page that takes payment. If you sell through a sales team on proposals, that's your tool. If you sell a course online, it isn't.

The traps that cost you after signup

Bad surprises rarely show up on day one. They show up at the first launch that works, or when you try to leave.

01

The fee hidden in the cheapest plan

Fees

Kartra Essentials takes 5%, Podia Mover too, Kajabi up to 2% outside Kajabi Payments. On a $20,000 launch, 5% is $1,000, more than a year and a half of Systeme.io Webinar. Read the transaction fee line before the monthly price.

Contact caps that force an upgrade

Pricing

A lead magnet that works can add 3,000 contacts in a month. Kajabi Basic stops at 2,500, Kartra Essentials at 500, Systeme.io Free at 2,000. Clean your list every quarter: delete people who haven't opened anything in six months. They cost you a tier and never buy.

Build a first funnel that pays in month one

The order you build in matters more than the tool. These are the steps that keep showing up among people who actually sell.

01

Start with one offer and one price

One product, one price, one page. Don't build three funnels before your first sale. Systeme.io's free plan (3 funnels) covers this first round.

02

Capture the email before you sell

An opt-in page with a free guide, then 3 to 5 emails leading to the offer. Most visitors don't buy on the first visit, so the email sequence does what the sales page can't do alone.

03

Add an order bump at 20 to 30% of the price

A checkbox for a simple extra: a template, a workbook, a Q&A session. It should make sense in one line and cost a fraction of the main product. It's the highest-return addition to any funnel.

04

Show the upsell right after payment

The buyer just said yes and their card is on file. That's when you offer coaching or the full version, paid in one click. If they decline, a downsell page offers a lighter version.

05

Make a real purchase before launch

Buy your own product for $1, with the bump and the upsell, from a phone. Check the receipt, content access and welcome email. It's the step migrations skip, and the one that breaks most often.

06

Connect sales, invoices and CRM

On every sale, create the invoice, add the buyer to your CRM and ping yourself in Slack. Systeme.io, GoHighLevel, ClickFunnels and Kartra all connect to Make, no code needed.

FAQ

Your questions about sales funnel software

  • What is sales funnel software?

It's a tool that chains the pages taking a visitor to a purchase: an opt-in page, a sales page, a checkout, then an extra offer after payment. It wires those pages to payments and follow-up emails so everything runs without you touching it.

  • Is there free sales funnel software?

Yes. Systeme.io is free up to 2,000 contacts and 3 funnels, with checkout, order bumps and no cut of your sales. That's enough for a first product. Every other tool on this list starts with a trial, not a free plan.

  • What's the difference between an order bump and an upsell?

An order bump is a checkbox on the checkout page, before payment ("add the workbook for $17"). An upsell is a page shown right after purchase offering something bigger, paid in one click without re-entering a card. Bumps earn small amounts often; upsells earn bigger amounts less often.

  • Is ClickFunnels still worth it in 2026?

It is if you run paid ads at scale and want the most flexible editor. For a first funnel, Launch at $97 a month costs nearly six times Systeme.io Startup, with no free plan. Use the 14-day trial to rebuild your main funnel before you decide.

  • Is a CRM the same as sales funnel software?

No. Pipedrive, HubSpot or Salesforce track prospects through sales stages like call, proposal and signature. They don't build a sales page that takes payment. If you sell online without a sales team, you need a funnel builder, not a pipeline CRM.

  • Which funnel builders charge transaction fees?

Systeme.io, ClickFunnels, GoHighLevel and Funnelish charge none. Kartra takes 5% on Essentials, Podia 5% on Mover, and Kajabi 0.5% to 2% if you skip Kajabi Payments. Stripe or PayPal fees apply everywhere on top.

  • How much does sales funnel software cost?

From $0 to about $550 a month depending on tool and plan, before payment fees; for a first funnel, $0 to $180. At 1,000 contacts: $0 on Systeme.io, $97 on ClickFunnels or GoHighLevel, $179 on Kajabi. At 10,000 contacts Systeme.io moves to $47, while Kajabi requires Growth at $249.

  • Can I sell online without a website?

Yes. A funnel builder hosts your pages on a provided subdomain or your own domain, takes payments and sends emails. Systeme.io includes one custom domain on Free. Just add your terms and privacy policy to a page in the funnel.
