Overview

What the Actaport Zapier integration actually does for a law firm

Actaport is a cloud platform law firms use to run their case files, contacts, deadlines and documents. Linking it to Zapier means one event in Actaport, such as a deadline being entered, can create or update something else without anyone copying it by hand. All 18 Actaport triggers are instant, which is rare and good news on a free plan.

Three results firms usually want from it. A task for every deadline: New Deadline starts the Zap and Create Task puts a to-do with a due date and an owner in front of the right lawyer. Billable costs that log themselves: Create Expense records an expense in a case file for the party designated as client, so a cost captured elsewhere stops living in a spreadsheet. Paperwork filed where it belongs: Upload Document pulls a file from a web address into a specific case file, and Update Document Metadata tidies it up afterwards.

What Zapier does not do here matters just as much. There is no trigger for expenses, RVG fees or users, so a new fee in Actaport cannot start anything. There is no delete action either: a Zap can create and update, never remove. And no search offers a find-or-create option, so a Zap that needs a contact which might not exist has to be built with two separate steps.

If you are weighing other tools for the same job, Make vs Zapier and n8n vs Zapier set out the differences criterion by criterion.

Vocabulary

Zapier vocabulary in one minute

Eight words come back on every line of this page. Each one in plain English, once.

Zap
The automation you build on Zapier: one trigger, then one or more actions that run each time that trigger event happens.
Trigger
The event in an app that starts the Zap. Once the Zap is on, Zapier sits and waits for that event.
Action
What the Zap does once it has started: the step that writes, sends or moves something for you in an app.
Task
The unit Zapier bills: one action your Zap completes successfully. The number on your plan counts those, nothing else.
Polling vs instant
A polling trigger is checked on a timer. An instant trigger is reported by the app itself the moment the event happens.
Filter
A step that lets the Zap carry on only when what arrived meets a condition you set, and stops it quietly otherwise.
Search step
A step that looks up something already stored in an app, so later steps can use what it found.
Connection
Your Actaport account linked to Zapier once, then reused by every step of every Zap that touches Actaport.
Cost

What an Actaport Zap really costs

Actaport is not a premium app, so it works on the free plan. The bill is counted in tasks, and only actions count.

  • Free plan100 tasks a month, unlimited Zaps, no premium apps
  • Free plan Zap sizeOne trigger and one action, nothing more
  • Actaport triggersAll instant, so the interval grid below never applies

The trigger never costs a task, and neither does Zapier listening for new Actaport events, however many arrive. Each action that succeeds counts once, so a Zap with three actions uses three times what a one-action Zap uses. An action that fails is not counted. The real catch: the free plan stops at two steps. Add a filter, a search or a second action and the Zap becomes multi-step, which needs a paid plan.

Connect

Connect your Actaport account to Zapier

  1. 01

    Open the Apps page

In your Zapier account, go to Apps and click + Add connection. A dialog then opens with a search box: type Actaport and pick it from the list of apps.

  2. 02

    Sign in to Actaport

Click Add connection. A new browser tab opens on Actaport. Log in with the account the Zaps should act as, ideally one that can see every case file you plan to automate.

  3. 03

    Grant access

Allow Zapier to access the account. The connection now shows on the Apps page and every Actaport step can reuse it. You need read or write access on anything you do not own yourself.

First Zap

Your first Zap: a task for every new deadline

GoalEach deadline entered in Actaport becomes a task with an owner and a due date, but only for the deadlines worth a reminder.

  1. 01

    Create the Zap

Start a new Zap. As the trigger, pick Actaport and the event New Deadline, then choose the Actaport connection set up above.

  2. 02

    Test the trigger

Run the test. Zapier brings back the three most recent deadlines of the account, so you map the next steps on a real one rather than on blanks.

  3. 03

    Add the filter

From the plus icon, add Filter and set the field, the rule and the value. Pick a text rule for text and a number rule for numbers, or it never passes. This makes the Zap multi-step.

  4. 04

    Add Create Task

Add Actaport as the action with the event Create Task. Fill Task Title, Task Priority, Task Owner User Id and Task Due Date, the date written as YYYY-MM-DD.

  5. 05

    Test, then publish

Test the action and check the task really appears in Actaport. Then click Publish to switch the Zap on. Only deadlines created from now on will go through.

Triggers

The 18 Actaport triggers

18 events start a Zap when something happens in Actaport, and 18 of them are instant: the app calls Zapier straight away, whatever your plan.

1

New Case File

Instant trigger

In Zapier“Triggers when a new case file is created.”

Every time someone at the firm opens a fresh case file in Actaport, this step hands that file to the Zap so the following steps can act on it straight after.

How it fires
the app tells Zapier the moment it happens, so the Zap starts right away, whatever your plan.
When to use it
each new matter should arrive with a first task or a first deadline, without anyone retyping the file number.
Watch out
case files opened before the Zap was switched on are never picked up.
2

New Contact

Instant trigger

In Zapier“Triggers when a new contact is created.”

A person or organisation added to the Actaport address book starts the Zap here, once, at the moment of creation, and never again for that record.

How it fires
the app tells Zapier the moment it happens, so the Zap starts right away, whatever your plan.
When to use it
a brand new client should open a matching case file, or be copied into the tool your intake team watches.
Watch out
edits made later do not fire it; New or Updated Contact covers those.
3

New Deadline

Instant trigger

In Zapier“Triggers when a deadline is created.”

Deadlines are the beating heart of a litigation practice, and this trigger reacts to each one the moment it is entered against a case file in Actaport.

How it fires
the app tells Zapier the moment it happens, so the Zap starts right away, whatever your plan.
When to use it
a new deadline should produce a task for the lawyer in charge, or a reminder in a shared calendar.
Watch out
changing the date afterwards does not fire it again.
4

New Document

Instant trigger

In Zapier“Triggers when a new document is created or uploaded.”

Whether a document is drafted inside Actaport or uploaded into it, this step catches it as soon as it exists and passes it to the rest of your Zap.

How it fires
the app tells Zapier the moment it happens, so the Zap starts right away, whatever your plan.
When to use it
incoming paperwork should get its metadata filled in, or a colleague should hear that a new file is waiting.
Watch out
a Zap that uploads documents into Actaport will fire this trigger again.
5

New or Updated Case File

Instant trigger

In Zapier“Triggers when a new case file is created or an existing case file is updated.”

This one is the wide net for case files: it reacts both when a file is opened and whenever an existing file is edited later on.

How it fires
the app tells Zapier the moment it happens, so the Zap starts right away, whatever your plan.
When to use it
you keep a mirror of your case files in another tool and every change needs to reach it, not only the first version.
Watch out
it fires far more often than New Case File, and each run that reaches an action costs tasks.
6

New or Updated Contact

Instant trigger

In Zapier“Triggers when a new contact is created or an existing contact is updated.”

Creating a contact or changing one already on file both set this trigger off, which makes it the natural source for keeping an address list in sync.

How it fires
the app tells Zapier the moment it happens, so the Zap starts right away, whatever your plan.
When to use it
a mailing tool or CRM outside Actaport must always hold the latest version of each client record.
Watch out
if the same Zap writes back to Actaport contacts, it can loop on itself.
7

New or Updated Deadline

Instant trigger

In Zapier“Triggers when a new deadline is created or an existing deadline is updated.”

Here both a freshly entered deadline and a later edit to an existing one start the Zap, so a moved date is never missed downstream.

How it fires
the app tells Zapier the moment it happens, so the Zap starts right away, whatever your plan.
When to use it
deadlines are copied into an outside calendar and that copy must follow every postponement.
Watch out
the Zap cannot tell a creation from an update on its own; add a filter if only one of the two matters.
8

New or Updated Document

Instant trigger

In Zapier“Triggers when a new document is created or an existing document is updated.”

Documents created in Actaport and documents that are later revised both reach the Zap through this single trigger.

How it fires
the app tells Zapier the moment it happens, so the Zap starts right away, whatever your plan.
When to use it
a revised pleading or contract has to be flagged to the team each time it changes, not only when it first appears.
Watch out
pairing it with Update Document Metadata on the same document makes the Zap fire itself again and again.
9

New or Updated Resubmission

Instant trigger

In Zapier“Triggers when a new resubmission is created or an existing resubmission is updated.”

Resubmissions are the follow-up dates Actaport attaches to a case file. This trigger reacts when one is set and again when one is changed.

How it fires
the app tells Zapier the moment it happens, so the Zap starts right away, whatever your plan.
When to use it
a follow-up list outside Actaport has to stay aligned with every resubmission, including the ones pushed back.
Watch out
a status change counts as an update too, so expect more runs than new entries.
10

New or Updated Task

Instant trigger

In Zapier“Triggers when a new task is created or an existing task is updated.”

Any task, created a minute ago or edited after a call with the client, starts the Zap through this trigger.

How it fires
the app tells Zapier the moment it happens, so the Zap starts right away, whatever your plan.
When to use it
a team board or chat channel should reflect the current state of every task, owner and due date included.
Watch out
a Zap ending in Update Task or Update Task Status on the same task will set this trigger off once more.
11

New Resubmission

Instant trigger

In Zapier“Triggers when a new resubmission is created.”

When a lawyer schedules a resubmission on a case file, Zapier receives it here, once, the moment it is saved.

How it fires
the app tells Zapier the moment it happens, so the Zap starts right away, whatever your plan.
When to use it
a new follow-up date should become a task for the assistant, or an entry in a calendar the whole team reads.
Watch out
resubmissions moved later stay invisible to this trigger; New or Updated Resubmission sees them.
12

New Task

Instant trigger

In Zapier“Triggers when a new task is created.”

A task created in Actaport, by hand or by another Zap, lands in Zapier through this step as soon as it is saved.

How it fires
the app tells Zapier the moment it happens, so the Zap starts right away, whatever your plan.
When to use it
the person who owns the task should get a message wherever they actually read their notifications.
Watch out
a Zap that runs Create Task will feed this trigger with its own output, so never chain the two on the same Zap.
13

Updated Case File

Instant trigger

In Zapier“Triggers when an existing case file is updated.”

Only changes count here: an existing case file being edited starts the Zap, while a newly opened one is ignored.

How it fires
the app tells Zapier the moment it happens, so the Zap starts right away, whatever your plan.
When to use it
partners want to know when a matter they follow is modified, without hearing about every new file.
Watch out
an Update Case File action on the same file will fire this trigger in return.
14

Updated Contact

Instant trigger

In Zapier“Triggers when an existing contact is updated.”

Edits to a contact that already exists, and only those, wake this trigger up; brand new contacts pass by unnoticed.

How it fires
the app tells Zapier the moment it happens, so the Zap starts right away, whatever your plan.
When to use it
a client changes address or phone number and the billing tool outside Actaport must carry the change.
Watch out
Update Contact in the same Zap creates a loop that burns tasks quickly.
15

Updated Deadline

Instant trigger

In Zapier“Triggers when an existing deadline is updated.”

Once a deadline exists, any later change to it reaches the Zap through this trigger, which leaves new deadlines aside.

How it fires
the app tells Zapier the moment it happens, so the Zap starts right away, whatever your plan.
When to use it
a postponed hearing or a deadline marked final should alert the lawyer who handles the case.
Watch out
Update Deadline or Update Deadline Status pointed at the same record will start the Zap again.
16

Updated Document

Instant trigger

In Zapier“Triggers when an existing document is updated.”

A document already stored in Actaport that gets revised fires this step. Uploads of new documents do not.

How it fires
the app tells Zapier the moment it happens, so the Zap starts right away, whatever your plan.
When to use it
the latest version of a draft needs to be announced to the colleague reviewing it.
Watch out
changing a document's metadata through the Zap counts as an update, so keep Update Document Metadata out of this Zap.
17

Updated Resubmission

Instant trigger

In Zapier“Triggers when an existing resubmission is updated.”

Changes to an existing resubmission, such as a new date or a new status, start the Zap; fresh resubmissions do not.

How it fires
the app tells Zapier the moment it happens, so the Zap starts right away, whatever your plan.
When to use it
the assistant should be told each time a follow-up date on one of their files is moved.
Watch out
Update Resubmission or Update Resubmission Status on the same record loops the Zap.
18

Updated Task

Instant trigger

In Zapier“Triggers when an existing task is updated.”

This trigger cares only about existing tasks being edited, from a new due date to a change of owner.

How it fires
the app tells Zapier the moment it happens, so the Zap starts right away, whatever your plan.
When to use it
a task reassigned to another lawyer should reach that lawyer straight away, outside Actaport.
Watch out
a status change made by Update Task Status on the same task restarts the Zap.
Actions

The 18 Actaport actions

Actaport gives you 18 actions. For each one: what it does for you, when to reach for it, and what to watch out for.

1

Create Case File

Action

In Zapier“Creates a new case file.”

Opens a new case file in Actaport with its name, clerk, assistants and a first participant.

When to use it
a signed engagement letter in another tool should open the matter for you.
Watch out
the participant needs a contact id plus a main and a sub role, and several assistant ids go separated by + or a comma.
2

Create Contact

Action

In Zapier“Creates a new contact.”

Adds someone to the Actaport address book; a last name and a contact type are all it strictly needs.

When to use it
a web enquiry form should put the prospect into Actaport before the first call.
Watch out
only one postal address can be assigned to a contact.
3

Create Deadline

Action

In Zapier“Creates a new deadline for a case file.”

Sets a deadline on a case file, with an end date and a reason, and lets you mark it final or provisional.

When to use it
a court notice parsed elsewhere should produce the matching deadline in the file.
Watch out
the case file number goes as Number/YY and the end date as YYYY-MM-DD.
4

Create Expense

Action

In Zapier“Creates an expense in a case file for the party designated as client.”

Records an expense in a case file for the party designated as client, billed to the user you name.

When to use it
travel or copying costs captured in another tool should reach the file without retyping.
Watch out
for expenditure types under fee number 7000 ff. VV RVG, Actaport computes the amounts itself, and the quantity sits between 1 and 9999.
5

Create Resubmission

Action

In Zapier“Creates a new resubmission for a case file.”

Schedules a follow-up date on a case file, with the reason the file has to come back to someone's desk.

When to use it
a client email awaiting an answer should bring the file back in front of the lawyer later.
Watch out
the date follows YYYY-MM-DD and the file number Number/YY.
6

Create RVG Fee

Action

In Zapier“Creates an RVG fee in a case file for the party designated as client.”

Adds an RVG fee line to a case file for the party designated as client, with its activity type, VAT, description and net amount.

When to use it
fee lines decided outside Actaport should land in the right file for billing.
Watch out
the net amount is in cents, and the remuneration number is entered separately from the description.
7

Create Task

Action

In Zapier“Creates a new task. If a case file is specified, the task is automatically linked with the case file.”

Puts a task in Actaport with a title, a priority, an owner and a due date. If you name a case file, the task is tied to it automatically.

When to use it
any event that means someone at the firm has something to do.
Watch out
the owner is a user id, not a name.
8

Create Third Party Cost

Action

In Zapier“Creates a third party cost in a case file for the party designated as client.”

Logs a cost paid to a third party in a case file, again for the party designated as client and billed to a named user.

When to use it
a bailiff or expert invoice approved elsewhere should show up in the matter.
Watch out
the net amount is in cents and the quantity runs from 1 to 9999.
9

Update Case File

Action

In Zapier“Updates an existing case file.”

Changes an existing case file, found by its Number/YY file number, including the participant input tax reduction setting.

When to use it
a status change in your practice tool should be reflected on the file itself.
Watch out
a wrong file number means nothing is updated and the step fails.
10

Update Contact

Action

In Zapier“Updates an existing contact.”

Rewrites the details of a contact you point to by its contact id.

When to use it
a client corrects their details in a portal and Actaport should follow.
Watch out
you need the id, so a Find Contact step usually comes first, and a contact keeps one postal address at most.
11

Update Deadline

Action

In Zapier“Updates an existing deadline.”

Edits a deadline already in a case file, identified by the file number and the deadline id, and can switch it between final and provisional.

When to use it
a hearing moved by the court should move in Actaport too.
Watch out
both ids are required, so pair it with Find Deadline by Id.
12

Update Deadline Status

Action

In Zapier“Updates the status of an existing deadline.”

Changes only the status of a deadline, leaving its date and reason untouched.

When to use it
a filing confirmed in another tool should close the matching deadline.
Watch out
you still need the case file number and the deadline id alongside the new status.
13

Update Document Metadata

Action

In Zapier“Updates the metadata of a document.”

Rewrites the metadata of a document stored in Actaport; the document id is the only required input.

When to use it
new uploads should be labelled consistently without a clerk opening each one.
Watch out
it fires Updated Document and New or Updated Document in any Zap that watches documents.
14

Update Resubmission

Action

In Zapier“Updates an existing resubmission.”

Edits a resubmission already scheduled on a case file, located through the file number and its resubmission id.

When to use it
the client asks for more time and the follow-up date should shift with it.
Watch out
without the resubmission id the step cannot find its target.
15

Update Resubmission Status

Action

In Zapier“Updates the status of an existing resubmission.”

Switches the status of one resubmission, and nothing else about it.

When to use it
an answer received from the other side should mark the follow-up as dealt with.
Watch out
it asks for three things at once: file number, resubmission id and the new status.
16

Update Task

Action

In Zapier“Updates an existing task.”

Edits one task already in Actaport, which you designate with its task id.

When to use it
a meeting rescheduled in a calendar should move the due date of the related task.
Watch out
a Zap whose trigger is Updated Task and whose action is this one will loop.
17

Update Task Status

Action

In Zapier“Updates the status of an existing task.”

Moves a task to another status, given its task id and the status you want.

When to use it
work ticked off in another tool should mark the Actaport task as done.
Watch out
Find Task by Id helps confirm the task exists before changing it.
18

Upload Document

Action

In Zapier“Uploads a document from the given source to a specific case file.”

Fetches a file from a web address and stores it in the case file you name.

When to use it
attachments received by email or e-signature should end up in the matter automatically.
Watch out
the source has to be a full URL and the file number follows Number/YY.
Searches

The 11 Actaport searches

11 search steps look for data that already exists in Actaport, so a later step can use it.

A search step sits at the bottom of the action event list, under the SEARCH heading. It finds a record that already exists and hands its id to the next step, which is how a Zap gets a contact id or a deadline id no earlier step carried. Some action fields also offer + Add search step, which inserts the search for you.

1

Find Contact by Id

Search

In Zapier“Finds an existing contact by Id.”

Retrieves one contact when you already hold its contact id.

When to use it
a trigger gave you an id and the next step needs the full contact behind it.
Watch out
it matches the id only, so a name will not work here.
2

Find Contact by Parameters

Search

In Zapier“Finds an existing contact by supported parameters.”

Looks a contact up through the parameters Actaport supports, rather than through its id.

When to use it
before Create Contact, to check the person is not already in the address book.
Watch out
with several matches, decide in the settings which one moves on.
3

Find Deadline by Id

Search

In Zapier“Finds an existing deadline of a case file by Id.”

Pulls a single deadline of a case file, from the Number/YY file number and the deadline id.

When to use it
right before Update Deadline or Update Deadline Status, to make sure the target exists.
Watch out
both inputs are required. Write the file number as Number/YY, the format Actaport expects.
4

Find Document by Id

Search

In Zapier“Finds a document of a case file by id.”

Brings back one document of a case file, given the file number and the document id.

When to use it
a later step must work on a specific document named in an earlier one.
Watch out
a document id from another case file will not be found.
5

Find Document by Parameters

Search

In Zapier“Finds existing documents by parameters”

Lists existing documents of a case file by parameters, the case file number being the one required input.

When to use it
you need the documents of a matter without knowing their ids.
Watch out
several hits are likely, so the multiple-results setting matters.
6

Find Case File by File Number

Search

In Zapier“Finds an existing case file by its file number.”

Finds an existing case file from its file number, written as Number/YY.

When to use it
an email or form carries the file reference and the Zap must confirm it before writing anything.
Watch out
a reference typed differently returns nothing and, by default, stops the Zap.
8

Find Resubmission by Id

Search

In Zapier“Finds an existing resubmission of a case file by Id.”

Retrieves one resubmission of a case file from the file number and the resubmission id.

When to use it
just before Update Resubmission Status, to check the follow-up is still there.
Watch out
both inputs are required. Test it once on a real record before you publish.
9

Find Task by Id

Search

In Zapier“Finds an existing task by Id.”

Fetches one task from its task id, so the next step works on current data.

When to use it
a task id stored in another tool has to be checked before an update.
Watch out
a deleted task returns nothing. The task id is the only input, so map it from an earlier step rather than a task title.
10

Find Users

Search

In Zapier“Finds existing users by parameters.”

Searches the users of your Actaport account, optionally only those enabled, or those who can act as clerk or assistant in case files.

When to use it
Create Case File needs a clerk id and you only know the person.
Watch out
the result is a user id to map, not a name.
11

Find Logged-In User

Search

In Zapier“Finds the currently logged-in user.”

Returns the user behind the connection itself, with no input at all.

When to use it
expenses, fees and tasks should be billed or assigned to the account that runs the Zap.
Watch out
it always answers with the same person, whoever triggered the event.

The three settings every search exposes

  1. Successful if no search results are found?
Left on its default, an empty search stops the Zap there and the steps depending on it are skipped. Switched on, the Zap carries on empty-handed.
  2. Create X if it doesn't exist yet?
This box turns a search into find-or-create on apps that offer it. Actaport offers none, so a missing record means a separate Create step.
  3. If multiple search results are found?
Three ways out: keep the first match, which is the default, stop the Zap, or pass every match on at once.
When it breaks

When an Actaport Zap breaks

No help article is attached to Actaport on Zapier, and no app-specific rate limit is published. What breaks comes from how Zapier itself works.

  • The past is never picked up

A Zap only reacts to what happens after it is switched on. Case files and deadlines already in Actaport stay where they are; moving them is a separate job.
  • A Zap that sets itself off

Writing into the place your trigger watches, such as Update Task after Updated Task, restarts the Zap again and again and burns through your tasks.
  • A bulk import gets held back

When a trigger suddenly returns a huge batch, after a migration into Actaport for example, Zapier's flood protection can hold the runs back.
  • Wrong formats, failed actions

File numbers go as Number/YY, dates as YYYY-MM-DD, amounts in cents. A wrong format makes the action fail, though a failed action costs no task.

FAQ

Questions about the Actaport Zapier integration

01Is the Actaport Zapier integration free?
Yes, as far as the app goes: Actaport is not a premium app, so it works on the free Zapier plan. That plan gives 100 tasks a month and unlimited Zaps. The limit is size. A free Zap holds one trigger and one action, nothing more. As soon as a filter, a search or a second action joins in, for example Find Users before Create Task, the Zap becomes multi-step and needs a paid plan. Plan prices change often, so check the Zapier pricing page before choosing.
02How many tasks does an Actaport Zap use?
One per action that succeeds, each time the Zap runs. The trigger costs nothing, and Zapier waiting for new Actaport events costs nothing either. A Zap that turns each new deadline into a task uses one task per deadline. Add Create Resubmission after it and the same deadline costs two. A failed action, for instance because a date was not written as YYYY-MM-DD, is not counted. Searches are steps too, so count them when you estimate a month of runs.
03Does Actaport send data to Zapier in real time?
Yes. All 18 Actaport triggers are instant: Actaport tells Zapier the moment a case file, contact, deadline, document, resubmission or task is created or changed, and the Zap starts right away. The polling grid, 15 minutes on the free plan, does not apply to them. That matters for deadlines, where a quarter of an hour of delay would be uncomfortable. In the editor, a Zap built on an instant trigger shows a lightning bolt.
04What does it take to connect Actaport to Zapier?
An Actaport account, plus read or write access on any case file, contact or document you do not own yourself but want the Zap to touch. The connection happens once from the Apps page of Zapier: + Add connection, pick Actaport, sign in in the tab that opens, grant access. Every Actaport step then reuses that connection. Pick the account carefully, because Find Logged-In User and the default owner of tasks will follow it.
05Why does Create Expense or Create RVG Fee keep failing?
Usually because of a required field in the wrong form. Both actions need the case file number, a user id for billing and a VAT value. Create RVG Fee takes the net amount in cents, not in euros, so a value copied from an invoice usually needs converting first. Create Expense limits the quantity to between 1 and 9999, and for fee numbers under 7000 ff. VV RVG Actaport computes the amounts itself. Run Find Users first if you do not know the user id.
06What if the Actaport operation you need is missing?
Then the Zap needs a workaround or another tool. Zapier offers no Actaport action to delete anything and no trigger for new expenses, fees or users. Sometimes two existing steps cover the need, such as Find Contact by Parameters followed by Create Contact when no find-or-create exists. Otherwise the step stays manual for now. Check the official Actaport app page on Zapier before deciding, and keep the manual part small and well documented for the team.
07Zapier, Make or n8n for Actaport?
It depends on your criteria rather than on a single winner. Zapier has a ready Actaport app with 18 instant triggers, so a non-technical team can build a first Zap without writing code. Make and n8n suit teams that want branching, loops or self-hosting, but may need more setup for an app like Actaport. Compare price per run, hosting rules for client data and who will maintain the Zaps. The comparison pages linked above go criterion by criterion.
