The best Etsy SEO tool to replace EverBee, and how to leave cleanly
Six Etsy SEO tools ranked by score, matched to the reason you're leaving, plus an exit plan that keeps your keywords and your money.
Short answer: if you're hunting for an Etsy SEO tool because EverBee feels expensive for keyword work, go with eRank and double-check your finalists in Marketplace Insights, Etsy's own free tool. Pick Alura if you want software that rewrites and pushes listing updates for you. Sale Samurai and EHunt fit sellers who mostly research products. Marmalead is a niche pick for seasonal shops. One thing before you cancel: none of these tools imports EverBee data, so your saved keywords move by hand, and EverBee's monthly refund window is only three days.
The ranking is editorial: a sponsored spot is always labeled on its card, and no affiliate link changes a score.
Why Etsy sellers move off EverBee
EverBee earned its audience with one thing: a Chrome extension that overlays estimated sales and revenue on Etsy listings as you browse. It lists over 200,000 users and a 4.1 out of 5 rating on the Chrome Web Store. People rarely leave because of the extension. They leave over billing, trust in the numbers, and a free plan too thin to do real SEO.
Revenue numbers are modeled, not reported
Etsy doesn't publish per-listing sales, so every third-party revenue figure is an estimate built from reviews, favorites and other public signals. One Trustpilot reviewer put it bluntly: "The analytics are estimates presented with a level of confidence they do not deserve." Low-volume listings sometimes show zero sales despite having reviews. Fine for comparing two product ideas. Risky for ordering 500 blanks.
Auto-renewals that catch people off guard
EverBee's terms state that plans renew automatically at the end of each term. Several Trustpilot reviewers describe being moved from a small monthly plan to an annual charge they never asked for. Growth runs $299 a year on annual billing. If you took the annual discount, put the renewal date in your calendar today.
A three-day refund window on monthly plans
On a monthly plan, EverBee refunds your last payment only if you contact them within three days of purchase. After that, nothing. Annual plans get a pro-rated refund capped at eight months' worth. Miss the window by a week on a monthly plan and you've paid for the whole month.
The free plan can't carry your SEO
Hobby is free forever, but it caps you at 10 keyword searches, 5 saved keywords, 5 saved shops and one folder. Product data stops at views, reviews and favorites: no sales, no revenue. Keyword Score and the Tag Analyzer are paid features. eRank's free tier gives you 5 keyword searches every single day.
Too pricey if keywords are all you need
Growth is $24.99 a month billed yearly, or $39 a month on monthly billing ($468 a year versus $299). Business is $69 a month billed yearly. If you mostly need tags and titles, eRank Basic covers it at $5.99 a month, about a sixth of Growth's monthly price.
Keyword data that feels stale
EverBee is a product research tool first. Sellers report keyword volumes that barely move and missing tags on some listings, according to user reviews. In its replies, EverBee says that isn't the experience it aims for and points to caching or Etsy's own update delays. SEO-first tools like eRank, Marmalead and Marketplace Insights put search data at the center instead.

EverBee alternatives, ranked by score
Rank follows score, the same scores as our ranking of the best Etsy SEO tools, where EverBee lands at 3.7 out of 5. For each tool: why switch to it, who it fits, its weak spot, how to carry your EverBee work over, and its listed 2026 price.
The tools
1. eRank: the Etsy SEO tool with the lowest entry price
4.4/5 · Best overallWhy switch to eRank. If you opened EverBee mainly for keywords, eRank does that job better for a fraction of the cost. Its keyword tool, listing audit and competitor tracking cover the daily grind of Etsy SEO. The free plan has no time limit and gives you 5 keyword searches a day, 5 listing audits a day and one keyword list. Paid plans also lift you from 1 keyword list to 25 on Basic.
Who it fits. Sellers who already have a product and need to get found: jewelry, prints, stationery, home decor. Basic is enough for a shop with around a hundred listings.
Who should skip it. Anyone still figuring out what to sell. eRank doesn't estimate per-listing sales the way EverBee does.
Weak spot. The interface is dense, with lots of tabs and metrics, and some sellers find the paid tiers confusing at first. Budget an hour to learn your way around.
Moving over from EverBee. Create a keyword list in eRank and paste in the terms from your EverBee spreadsheet. The free plan allows one list, so group your best terms, one per top product. Then audit your 5 best-selling listings to spot overlapping tags.
Price. Free at $0. Basic at $5.99 a month ($65.99 a year), 100 searches a day. Pro at $9.99 ($94.99 a year), 200 searches. Expert at $29.99, 500 searches.

2. Marketplace Insights: Etsy's own data, free
4.3/5 · FreeWhy switch to Marketplace Insights. It's built by Etsy, so it doesn't guess. It shows actual search counts and listing counts over the last 30 days for a keyword, related terms, and category trends. You'll find it in Shop Manager under Stats. Results stay available for 7 days.
Who it fits. Every seller, as a fact-checker. Find ideas elsewhere, then confirm your top five here before you touch a listing.
Who should skip it. Nobody, really, but it won't replace competitor or product research.
Weak spot. 15 keyword searches a week on the free version, and only a 30-day window, which hides seasonality. It works on Etsy's desktop and mobile web, not the app. Unlimited searches come with Etsy Plus.
Moving over from EverBee. Nothing to install. Keep a tab open next to your new tool and run every title keyword through it. A term that looks big in a third-party tool but small here doesn't deserve the front of your title.
Price. Free with your seller account.

3. Alura: rewrites and publishes your listings
4.0/5 · Most completeWhy switch to Alura. Alura covers keywords, product research and shop analysis, like EverBee. The difference: it scores your listings, drafts new titles, tags and descriptions with AI, and publishes the changes you approve straight to Etsy. On a 200-listing shop, that's hours back. It holds a 4.0 out of 5 on Trustpilot across 442 reviews, where one user wrote: "Interface is instinctual and new features added are genuinely useful and thoughtful."
Who it fits. Sellers short on time to rework listings one by one, and anyone who wants a single tool to fully replace EverBee.
Who should skip it. If you just need a few tags a month, eRank Basic is $5.99 versus $7.99 for Alura Basic billed yearly.
Weak spot. AI output is uneven. A Trustpilot reviewer summed it up: "The tool can produce good results when it is working, and some non-AI features remain useful." Review every draft before it goes live. CSV export only starts on Growth, and listed prices assume yearly billing.
Moving over from EverBee. Connect your shop, let Alura score your listings, and fix the ones with views but few sales first. Paste your EverBee keywords into its lists. The 7-day money-back guarantee gives you time to judge.
Price. Free at $0 (5 keyword searches a day). Basic $7.99 a month billed yearly ($95.88). Growth $14.99 a month billed yearly ($179.99). Professional $29.99 a month billed yearly ($359.88).

4. Sale Samurai: product research, all features in one plan
3.6/5 · Product researchWhy switch to Sale Samurai. It keeps EverBee's product-hunting spirit: Etsy search volumes, products with proven demand, top-selling listings in a niche, and a free Chrome extension. One paid plan with every feature included, so no surprise tier when you need something.
Who it fits. Print-on-demand and digital product sellers who launch many designs and want niches where demand already exists.
Who should skip it. Sellers who want a deep audit of their own shop: it mostly looks at the market.
Weak spot. The freemium tier is thin: 20 keyword searches and 10 listing analyses per month, not per day. The full trial lasts only 3 days, so prep your search list before you start it.
Moving over from EverBee. Take the niches you tracked in EverBee and rerun them during the trial. Listings that show up strong in both tools are your most reliable signals.
Price. Freemium at $0. $19.99 a month, or $199.90 a year ($16.65 a month). If you cancel, access runs to the end of the paid period.

5. EHunt: closest to EverBee, for less
3.5/5 · Budget pickWhy switch to EHunt. EHunt used to be called EtsyHunt, so if you see both names, it's the same product. It follows EverBee's playbook (product research, competitor shop analysis, keywords) and adds title and tag generators. Its first paid plan is $7.99 a month billed yearly, about a third of EverBee Growth.
Who it fits. Sellers who liked how EverBee works and just want to pay less.
Who should skip it. Sellers who want a deep audit of their own shop: shop analysis and listing optimization aren't in the free plan.
Weak spot. The free plan caps you at 5 product searches and 5 keyword searches a day, one connected shop, and no shop analysis. Its product trends are its own calculations, not figures published by Etsy. And refunds must be requested within 24 hours of your first purchase.
Moving over from EverBee. Connect your shop, re-add the shops you followed, then compare EHunt's trends with what EverBee showed on three products you know well. If they disagree a lot, trust your own sales.
Price. Free at $0. Basic $7.99, Pro $15.99 and Elite $29.99 a month, billed yearly. Monthly billing is also available. A free trial is offered.

6. Marmalead: built around seasonality
2.8/5 · Seasonal shopsWhy switch to Marmalead. Marmalead is about timing. Its Storm tool brainstorms keywords, and its seasonality and forecast charts show when a term is about to climb. Letter grades on listings and an AI description critique round it out, and one account handles several shops.
Who it fits. Highly seasonal shops (Christmas, weddings, back to school) that prep listings two to three months before the peak.
Who should skip it. Beginners who want to try before paying: no free plan and no trial listed.
Weak spot. No sales estimates, no free tier, and a higher entry price than eRank Basic ($19 versus $5.99), though eRank has nothing like its seasonal forecasts. Its letter grade measures listing SEO, not the product: a "C" listing can still be your best seller.
Moving over from EverBee. Start monthly. Run your EverBee keywords through Storm, flag the ones with an upcoming peak, and rework those listings first.
Price. $19 a month, $53 a quarter, $190 a year, or $300 once for lifetime access.

EverBee vs 6 Etsy SEO tools, at a glance
How to pick an Etsy SEO tool: start from the job (keywords, product research or rewriting listings), check what the free plan really allows per day, and confirm every finalist keyword in Etsy's own data. Our default: eRank Free or Basic, with Marketplace Insights as the fact-checker. For a seller who used Growth monthly mostly for SEO, that pairing drops the bill from $39 to $5.99 a month, roughly $396 saved over a year.

Leaving EverBee in six steps
Order matters: save what can't be exported, set up the new tool, and cancel last, timed so you don't pay an extra month.
The steps
Copy your lists before you touch billing
Day 1None of the tools here imports EverBee data. Open a spreadsheet and copy your saved keywords, folders, and the shops and products you track. Add the volume and competition EverBee showed for each keyword so you can compare later.
Screenshot any estimates that drove a product launch. EverBee's terms warn that downgrading can mean losing account content, so back up before you drop a tier.
- Time
- one to two hours
- If skipped
- lost lists
Check your plan type and renewal date
Day 1Find out whether you're monthly or annual and when the next charge lands. Plans renew on their own. Monthly refunds only apply if you contact EverBee within 3 days of the charge. Annual refunds are pro-rated, capped at eight months.
In practice: cancel a monthly plan a few days before renewal, never after. Cancel an annual plan as soon as you decide, since every month that passes shrinks your refund.
- Monthly
- refund within 3 days
- Annual
- pro-rated, 8 months max
Start the new tool on its free plan
Week 1eRank, Alura and EHunt all have free tiers. Rebuild your keyword lists from the spreadsheet, starting with the terms behind your 10 best sellers. Only upgrade after you've hit the free limit several days running.
Don't compare raw volumes across tools. Each one models search differently, so the same keyword can show very different numbers. Compare how keywords rank against each other instead.

Validate keywords in Marketplace Insights
Week 1Your 15 free weekly searches are precious, so save them for finalists. For each listing, check the lead keyword in your title. If Etsy shows little search for it, swap in a close term the tool suggests.
Results last 7 days: log them in your spreadsheet next to your new tool's numbers.
- Quota

Update listings in small batches
Weeks 2 to 4Don't rewrite the whole shop in one sitting. Change 5 to 10 listings, wait one to two weeks, check them in Search analytics (Shop Manager, Marketing), where Etsy shows impressions, average position, visits and orders for each search query, free. Then keep going. If a good seller drops, you'll know which one and why.
Start with listings that get views but few sales: a sharper title helps them most.

Cancel EverBee and keep proof
Before renewalCancel through the in-app cancellation flow, or email hello@everbee.io, as the terms allow. Keep the confirmation email or a screenshot. If you want a refund, ask in the same message and include the charge date.
Uninstalling the Chrome extension doesn't stop billing. If you still want the extension for a quick look now and then, the free Hobby plan is enough.

What makes an EverBee exit go wrong
Switching Etsy SEO tools isn't technical. What costs money is the small stuff: a renewal, an unsaved list, a shop rewritten too fast.
Cancelling after renewal
Three days late on a monthly plan and the month is gone. Set a reminder a week before the renewal date, not on the day.
Downgrading before backing up
Dropping to Hobby caps saved items at 5 keywords and 5 shops. Copy everything into a spreadsheet first.
Comparing estimates across tools
The same keyword can show very different volumes from one tool to the next. Only Marketplace Insights shows real Etsy searches: let it settle disputes.
Rewriting everything at once
Changing 150 titles in a day means you'll never know what worked. Go in batches of 5 to 10.
Paying annually on day one
The yearly discount is tempting. Do a month first, or lean on Alura's 7-day guarantee or Sale Samurai's 3-day trial.
Trusting a listing grade over sales
A listing graded "C" can be your top seller. Grades measure SEO, not your photos, price or product.
- Keywords, folders and tracked shops copied to a spreadsheet
- Plan type and renewal date noted
- New tool running on its free plan, lists rebuilt
- Finalist keywords checked in Marketplace Insights
- Listings updated in batches of 5 to 10
- Cancellation sent before renewal, confirmation saved
Etsy SEO tool and EverBee alternative FAQ
What is the best SEO tool for Etsy?
eRank, for most sellers. It scores 4.4 out of 5 in our ranking, has a usable free plan, and its Basic plan costs $5.99 a month. Pair it with Marketplace Insights for real search counts. Our full Etsy SEO tools ranking covers seven options.
Is there a free Etsy SEO tool?
Yes, several. Marketplace Insights is free inside Shop Manager with 15 keyword searches a week. eRank Free gives 5 searches a day, Alura Free 5 a day, and Sale Samurai's freemium 20 a month. EverBee's Hobby plan stops at 10 keyword searches.
Does Etsy have its own SEO tool?
Yes, two free ones. Marketplace Insights shows demand for a keyword (15 searches a week). Search analytics, under Marketing in Shop Manager, shows which searches brought shoppers to your shop, with impressions, average position, visits and orders. Both use Etsy's real data.
When should you stay on EverBee?
When product research is your main job and you check dozens of competitor listings a day. The extension, rated 4.1 out of 5 from 400 ratings with 200,000+ users, is fast at that. If you're on annual Growth and decide to leave, cancel as soon as you decide: the refund is pro-rated, capped at eight months, and shrinks every month you wait.
Is eRank better than EverBee?
For SEO, yes. eRank focuses on keywords and listing audits and costs far less. EverBee is stronger at estimating what other listings sell. Plenty of sellers keep EverBee's free extension for product ideas and do their SEO in eRank.
How accurate is EverBee?
Treat it as a rough guide. Etsy doesn't publish listing sales, so EverBee models them from public signals like reviews. Use the numbers to compare products against each other, not to plan inventory.
How do I cancel EverBee?
Use the cancellation flow in the app, or email hello@everbee.io. Removing the Chrome extension doesn't cancel anything. Keep the written confirmation.
Does EverBee give refunds?
Within tight limits. Monthly plans: your last payment back if you reach out within 3 days of purchase. Annual plans: a pro-rated refund capped at eight months. Seasonal offers may carry their own terms.
Which EverBee alternative still shows sales estimates?
EHunt and Sale Samurai are closest for product research. ProfitTree, which we didn't rank because it lacks a dedicated keyword tool, shows estimated sales over the last 24 hours on a free plan. All of these remain estimates.
Which tool works best for digital products on Etsy?
Sale Samurai or EHunt to find niches, eRank for tags. Digital sellers launch fast and in volume, so product research matters more. See our pages on Etsy tools for digital products and tools for makers.
